Got this for my birdwatching housemate. He loves it. I bought it in bright orange-easy to spot when he misplaces them. He seems to use them more than his full size binoculars. Takes them on bike rides, kayaking and I'm always finding them around the yard! Thinking of buying a pair for my mom too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AJAgostinelli I Purchased Two Pair!
...one for me and one for grandson as a gift...black and blue trimmed...they are good looking, light and most of all give clarity when watching distant items...grandson has already used them on a field trip, sharing the binoculars with his classmates. I have put away the large binoculars with the same power. Great product!
Great prod

Binoculars for my grand sons to use while overnighting with the boy scouts. Bright color choices. Good size. German optics. Easy to use. Directions included with case which has belt loop and also a neck strap. The boys were happy and spent their tiime snooping out windows and around their room to practice. Sturdy. This binocular does its expected job of bringing things closer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by bluehydrangea Light and cute!
Although I haven't seen anything extraordinary yet, the binoculars are light and ready to go birding. Can't get the focus in my left eye yet, but that is probably my vision. Looking forward to using them soon outside of the back yard.

bought these to replace another pair, they really don't work all that well can not adjust them to see well, on a brighter note they are compact, they should have a strap so you can hang them around your neck, would not advise anyone to buy these because of the adjustment problem I am going to send them back very very disappointed in L.L. Bean never had a problem before.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Uker Just right
Just the right size for my trip to Alaska. It has enough power and the field of view is adequate, my old pair are huge weighing at least 20 lbs. I got the orange they will not be misplaced. Also Bushnel is a good name.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AKlim Great binocs, great price
As a former active bird watcher for 30 years (I am 83 years of age) & now I am limited to watching my feeders, I have found these binocs to be as any I have had & better than most. The price is. almost unbelievable. The last pair I purchased was for my son. Please change my active birding years to "50". Slim. p.s. I have been an. lLBean customer for about 60 years when you could any color flannel shirt as long as you wanted "camel".

Rated 4 out of 5 by jmits1 Decent Lightweight Binoculars
We are birdwatchers and have some more expensive binoculars but wanted something lightweight that we could take in our suitcase when we travel to Europe this spring. These are just what we needed; lightweight, comfortable fit to the hand and decent viewing abilities for our need. They do come with a carrying case and strap so they could easily be put on a belt loop.

Rated 1 out of 5 by klbee Poor quality
I saw that these were made by Bushnell and thought I'd give them a try. Image quality was poor and even after several adjustments there was a double image. Doesn't close up enough for smaller faces. Will be returning these. Ended up with the Nikon Trailblazer..worth the extra cost. The Discovery binoculars, while fairly small, would be bulky in a pocket.
