Rated 4 out of 5�by MsKMB Great knife, ugly logo I was excited to get this knife for my husband who's an avid hunter. After reading the recommendations and getting a friend to verify this would be a good knife for hunting, I decided to buy it. What the picture doesn't show is the ugly L.L. Bean logo on the side of the blade. The logo goes down the length of the blade and is large. The color is charcoal gray. I understand the company wants to put its logo on everything, but why in the middle of the blade? Maybe on the handle or in smaller text at the intersection of the blade and the handle. If the knife was for me, I'd return it immediately. Once I give the knife to my husband, we'll see if he wants to return it. December 29, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5�by IowaHawkeyes Ugly logo. I was excited to get this for X-mas and think it's a beautiful knife. I like everything about it except the hideous L.L. Bean logo that ruins the blade. They don't put it in the photo for a reason, it's terrible and now I've got to figure out how to have it removed. It's frustrating because one of the things that I like about the L.L. Bean clothing line is the lack of ugly logos on most of their shirts. That being said, the staked leather handle is really nice looking. December 25, 2012
