Rated 4 out of 5 by Pirogue Help glasses stay clear
Best item available for those of us with fogging/icing issues on our glasses. I use them when clearing snow with my tractor or shoveling. Have a mask on due to bronchial issues.
That said, have to use high speed and still eventually have fogging.
It does give me enough time to finish however.
Lenses scratch very easily. Surely the mfg. could find a better lense.
With a bit of improvement these would be the best their is.

Rated 4 out of 5 Scott fan goggles
Fan feature seems to work well for avoiding fog. The wires that connect the battery pack to the goggle body could be protected better and are a bit frail. The battery pack itself would benefit from a more secure attachment to the headband. Optics were good.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ELLOVESLLBEAN concept is great - fit needs revamping
I was all excited to gift this item to my honey, who for the first year ever, admits he needs to wear his glasses under his goggles while skiing. The reviews were right on, the concept of fog free vision made me giddy for his safety... alas the goggles did not fit over his glasses comfortably, but rather the goggles pushed his glasses into the bridge of his nose while trying them on at home. There was no talking him into "just try one run to see if they work." :-(
Because the concept is *so* cool, I probably would have shopped around for glasses that would work with these goggles. But sadly these goggles were a gift and the recipient did not wish to do so.
It would be helpful for the manufacturer of the goggles (Smith) to provide measurements of the type of glasses that work with these OTG. Lucky for us, LLBean's return policy is top notch, and these will be returned.

Have not gotten to try them yet, thus the 4 stars. Great fit over my glasses. Will report back when I get a chance to wear them.

I am not a skier. I bought the goggles to use when snow blowing my 950 foot long driveway with a walk-behind snow blower. In the past, swirling winds have invariably pelted my face and coated my glasses with snow?a most uncomfortable annoyance. Years ago I had a pair of goggles that fit over my glasses, but they would promptly fog up since wrestling the snow blower requires serious exertion.
No longer. These goggles fit nicely over my glasses, and because of the fan, in most circumstances, do not fog up. On a few occasions when fog did form, switching the fan to the "HI" setting quickly cleared them up.
Finally a solution! A great product worth the money.

These goggles are very large on the face. They should read: "OTG, or Over the Glasses" If you look on the website, these items are made to go over sun or prescription eyewear.
Other than that, if you dont mind large goggles, they will NEVER, I repeat, NEVER FOG UP. They run off 1 AAA battery that will last all day.
The lens color that these come with is perfect. I was on the slope all day with full sun, and my eyes did not hurt. I stayed until night time with lighted trails, and could see all the way until it was dusk.
Overall quality is very good, the fan is silent, and blows away any fog within a matter of seconds.
PROS: NEVER FOG, HIGH QUALITY, NAME BRAND
CONS: LARGE ON THE FACE, PRICE
