Bought this thinking it would be warm, and be wearable, it fails both criteria.
Felt every bit of wind through this material, did not insulate well. I found myself having to put a hat over this and zipping my jacket all the way up to reduce exposure to wind.
Worst part of this, I was expecting to have something cover my face, however I wear glasses and if i have the mouth portion covering my face, all it did was vent upward and fog my glasses. Given the design one would think this would not be an issue.
Adjusting and moving the mask did little to alleviate this problem, so returning this.

I bought three of these for Christmas gifts. My husband, father and brother in law love to go four wheeling, but it gets a little chilly. They all love this headliner, it keeps them very warm.

I wear this as a balaclava on the really cold days and it helps! I can breath just fine through the nose and mouth piece without fogging up my glasses. My only problem is that it's a little large for my very small head but that's expected with one-size-fits-all.

found out it allows to much cold air to bypass nose gurard and wind does pass thru material. Did not protect my nose and face but definitely better than no protection..

This is a great item for NY's windy, cold winters. The only problem is that my husband has a Romanesque kind of nose and found the slit between the nose and the mouth holes to be a little tight. So we are just going to cut it a little on each side to open it up for a good fit for him. This well-made, light-weight yet warm product will stand up to 'customizing'- of that I am certain.

I bought one of these about four and a half years ago and have worn and washed it every weekend (the shift I work, sat-sun-mon). If you want something that is durable, willing to be put thru what I have put it thru, this is the product for you. I had no problems with my old one except for the neoprene started to fall apart probably due to the fact that I dried it in the drier for four and a half years.

Purchased as a gift for 20 something son, his request. He loves it. College student that has to walk considerable distance to class in single degree/windy weather. Sometimes combines with mad bomber hat, but mostly used alone. He definitely has recommended this item to his budds.

The neofleece head gear is not too bad when the temps are above 40 degrees. below that you need the heavier gear. I like this product for fishing out of my Ranger in semi cold weather.

I've tried alot of different face/head liners, and I like this one best. The soft neoprene-like fabric that covers the mouth and nose is perfect. It doesn't itch, and is comfortable. The nose opening and holes around the mouth allow me to breathe comfortably--without fogging my glasses--VERY IMPORTANT! The fleece in the rest of the headliner is warm--yet thin enough to fit under a helmet for cycling or skiing. Bought one for my wife too! She LOVES it!
