Rated 5 out of 5 by DiscriminativeBuyer High quality slipper that should last indefitely
I recently bought these slippers to replace the shearling lined version of the bison slipper. The shearling version was always a bit tight fitting because of thickness of the lining. Also, the lining does eventually wear through, not being nearly so durable as the outers. The leather lined version offers me a truer fit, and I shouldn't have to worry about the inner lining wearing out prematurely. I am very happy with this purchase.

Expensive, so one expects top quality. Sadly not the case. The laces continually come undone, the sitching on the side came undone, on both slippers, and the linset became unglued. Frankly, i dont wear them a lot, and i would consider these to be utter garbage. I have had cheaper pairs that lasted a whole lot longer. Very disapointing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by stoweski Found a slipper that lasts longer than a year!
Bought a pair of the bison slippers because I was tired of having to replace mine every year. My FIL recommended these to me as he had his for a number of years and they still look good.
This is my third season with them and they show no signs of wearing out. I wear them both inside and out (on a covered porch and a deck) and somtimes in our gravel driveway in the summer when running out to the truck. The soles are still holding up strong.
I have a wide foot and was a bit worried about buying a slipper with a medium width but they stretched without breaking the stitching. Only reason I can't give them five stars is because I can't keep the darn things tied. Seems like a common problem. Definitely recommend these slippers though - well worth the price.

I couldn't wait to get my new Double-Soled Slippers made from Bison Leather and lined. When they arrived I was extra happy. They were extremely well-made and handsome, I might add. I slipped them on and they were tight, very tight. I read the information slip which told me they would be tight at first but that, gradually, they would shape to my feet and feel perfect. One week, still tight. Two weeks, still tight. Three weeks, still tight - in fact I was determined they would fit so I wore them a lot. Result: sore feet. Four weeks, still tight. So I had to return them. The people at Bean's were as gracious as always when I called to complain. No problems!
Word to the wise. Those slippers are tight! Just too tight for my feet.

Nice fit, but laces don't stay tied. Taupe color is not my favorite, but knew that when I bought it. Worn for a year, still comfortable/durable.

Color was exactly as advertised. Raisin buffalo upper with lighter brown complimentary lower overlay. The comfort actually exceeds my expectations for a slipper. Even has some arch support and sole cushion. I wear a 9 1/2 to a 10 M in regular shoes, I bought a 10 M and it fits perfectly. I have never paid this much for slippers before, but I would do it again for these. I am very pleased. OK, they are a little slippery on carpet, but not so much on tile or hardwood. I have never felt unstable in them. I expect after I scuff up the bottoms a little, the friction will increase. I would buy them again for sure

Rated 4 out of 5 by Godfearer Well made, much lighter color Taupe in person
First thing i will say is that the Taupe color is much lighter than the sample color, but they were so nice I took brown shoes polish to darken the shade. Great padding. Super glue worked great for lace staying tied. Payed $60.00 total. Would have given 5 stars but for the lighter color.

I never thought I'd pay this amount for slippers. But I got tired of buying slippers that would last a year and fall apart and also feel like cardboard on my feet. These slippers Just came a few days ago and they feel great!. The quality looks really good too. I'll now see how long they last.

My slippers are perfect. They are not the best looking but they sure are comfortable. I usually wear a 9.5. I ordered a size 9 as slippers are best when they start out snug. I am surprised that they are a bit loose. The cushioned soles feel like I am walking on air. Thanks, I love them!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by MBALSHOPPER Good, not great
After reading the other reviews, I thought these slippers would be exactly what i've been looking for to replace a three year old pair from a famous competitor. My first impression after opening the box was how nice and sturdy they looked. The next thing I noticed was how soft and thick the shearling was.. Very good so far... I wanted to give them a perfect score until I tried them on. After walking around my house with solid wood floors for only about a week my feet started to really bother me. I realized there's just not enought padding on the leather sole. I stepped on my sons Lego and it felt like I was barefoot. If LL could only add a durable rubber bottom to these then they'd have a true winner. The leather sole is very nice to look at, but lacks the padded support of others in the same price category.
