I bought a medium sized one for my Aussie. It's more than big enough. I like the extra size but I think a small would do the job just as well. As to the quality, this is just beautiful to look at, it's extremely soft and the dog loves it. I use it to "mark" where he's allowed to sleep. I put it on the couch when I want to let him on the couch. I put it on the floor when I don't want him on the couch. I don't use it as a crate pad, it's just too nice for that. Not cheap, but not cheaply made. You get what you pay for. It's very high quality materials and construction. I love it! Highly recommended!

We have 5 of these for car, office and home. Extremely durable and comfortable. Fleece and denim provides comfort all year round

I bought this for my dachshund Winston who weights about 14 lbs. I wanted a blanket that can be used for his car rides and also be put on the couch. The quality of the blanket is great, however, even the Large one I got for my little dog is small for my couch (3 seater) and my car (Subaru Forester). I wish they can make a larger Large.

After over 20 years, our old blanket, which "lived" through 6 dogs, finally began to show wear. It is still usable but thought our new puppies deserved a new one of their own.

I would term this product a pad, not a blanket. It is somewhat stiff and not something a pet can really make a nest out of or snuggle into.
Having said that and although I just received this product, it seems well made and that it will, hopefully, be durable. I would use it as a cover on a couch, in a car, on a pet bed or in a kennel.
The pad is washable and has two unique sides. One side is a sturdy denim fabric (I got the blue) and the other a fleece. I am hoping that the two different fabrics will allow summer coolness / comfort on the denim side and winter warmth on the fleece side depending upon which one I place facing up.
The measurement on the one I got, the medium, is exact so if you are looking for something that will go across and up over a seat, measure your seat before buying.

loved the blanket and dog loves to lay on it. only complaint is the monagramming. doesn't show up too good. should be larger and thicker for this type of material. a little disappointing, especially for the additional cost.

My year old Black Lab can be a pain during meal times but he loves this pad to much that wherever I put it, he lays down on it. So now he's on his 'spot' while we enjoy our meals!! I like that the other side is a 'cool' fabric and we'll use it in the summertime for sure. He likes when I put it in his crate (we had to get 2 pads...so he always has one upstairs or downstairs!

Harvey, my sweet eight year old cat, loves his fleecy, soft, cozy "banky". (My term for it) He snuggles up on it every evening, purring loudly. It (the blanket) also protects my couch from getting full of cat hair, so I love it too. Thanks L.L. Bean!!!

Even nicer when you feel the quality, this blanket is thick enough for good coverage, but light enough to launder easily
