I have owned this rug for several months now and it has surprised me how well it has handled the traffic in my family room. It is so soft on the feet! The colors are stunning and have brought so many complements! Defintely a charmer for my Cape Cod home!

I recently upgraded my bedroom floor, from carpeting to wood flooring. I was looking for an area rug that would enhance the flooring. This rug was perfect. It is a beautiful braided rug, that is nontraditional in its shape (not the usual oval!). The chenille is soft and adds a great texture. Will probably buy one for another bedroom. Wish they made a larger size, also.

I loved the first rug I bought last fall so much- and it's holding up well- that I had to buy another for our room-a 3 by 5 in tarragon. They look great on the newly laminated bedroom floors. Once again, parcel was here within days. Good job!

I've recently purchased 3 of these beautiful rugs in Tarragon. The quality and color of these rugs is outstanding. I love area rugs and these are by far the most stunning I've ever owned !!!

First of all, heads up to Canadian shoppers. I ordered this beautiful rug in the vintage multi in a 5 by 8 oval size. From the time I ordered it online until the time I received it, it took five days- incredible service. And made in the u.s.a. so no duty :-)- just an extra $15 for shipping. The rug is gorgeous. I had read the reviews saying the colour was a little paler than the the pic, so I took that into account. It will go into a spare bedroom/office so it won't get too much traffic. The pinkish orange colour plays up the tibetan orange colour that we painted the accent wall etc. with, so I could see it adapting to many choices. I've looked at these rugs for a year, so I'm glad I gave this gift to me :-).

I found one of these beautiful rugs at the outlet store as a returned item. My friend encouraged me to get it and he was absolutely right the color was perfect on my tile kitchen floor. It is gorgeous (the Tarragon). I fear though that it will have a short life there as the Chenille just cannot take the traffic. I live alone with my large dog and between the two of us after only 3 months the ends of the rug that stick out from under the table are crushed flat. I can see this as a good rug for a low traffic pet-free environment but if it will be walked on a lot you would be better off with something else. I intend to enjoy it as long as possible but wouldn't recommend to someone else if it will be walked on.

i have 2 of these rugs and they lasted approximately 3 years. For the price they are terrible. The chenille wears off quickly so they are no longer soft. Also the stitching let go on both rugs. I would not recommend for a house with children or pets. It may be okay if you are willing to replace it often, however, they are pretty pricey. I did really love the colors, but they lost their vibrance as well.

I have had this rug a little over a month and am in love with it. The Blue Meadow colour scheme is muted, versatile and completely true to the catalogue representation. There are enough tones in it (without being too busy) that it fits seamlessly in with my bedroom decor. Morning and night, I enjoy stepping onto this soft, cozy rug. It may be a softy but it is well constructed, thick enough that it stays flat and stands up well to the light traffic of the bedroom. With the rougher economic times, I was a bit cautious when I ordered a fairly expensive item like this rug but I trust the quality of L.L. Bean's products and they have delivered with flying colours on this product! I look forward to many years of happy toe wiggles on my wonderful rug.
