The quality is good, the color is a little darker than I thought it would be...I had expected a brighter navy but all in all, I am very satisfied and will order other colors for other rooms.

Bedspreads are not easily found--especially a matelasse, so I was delighted to find this product. I am even more delighted now that we have it. First, this is a BEDSPREAD--it is designed to cover & tuck under bed pillows: Some reviewers seemed to expect a coverlet and noted it was "too long" on the vertical. Our king mattress measures 28" above the floor. This bedspread comes within 7" of the floor; a bedskirt finishes it off beautifully. We ordered Soft Teal; Detail color as represented on my monitor is true. We have two cats. I noted that the back side of this spread shows claw 'pulls' but the front does not {yea!} Our previous spread was a cotton matelasse QUILT--which was very durable but bit heavy--which brings up the best part of THIS spread. It is the perfect weight. It lays and drapes beautifully and is extremely comfortable. How comfortable? I am sleeping an extra hour each night since its arrival.

I couldn't be happier with this bedspread; love the texture/pattern, thickness, rounded corners (tough to find!), substantial size, durability, and color. We have the rustic purple, which is roughly equivalent to Pantone 528. It's a beautiful, subtle color that looks great with the grayish sage paint in our bedroom. I waited to review until after washing it, and I'm happy to say that it washed well, with very little shrinkage (I used warm water and completely dried it on warm setting). This is not always the case--I've already tried two cotton matelasse bedspreads from Bean's competitors and returned them after washing, due to alarming shrinkage. even when washed in cold water and tumbled dry only long enough to get moisture and wrinkles out.

I purchased this bedspread in white for our guestroom and loved it so much I am purchasing another for the master bedroom. The fit was perfect and the drape around the bed was elegant.

I would rate this higher, but want to wait and see how it launders. Love it so far - it's soft and looks very nice on the bed. Wish it were offered in more colors.

I absolutely love this bedspread.I bought this in Rustic Purple and the color is so deep and rich. Also the weight is great for all year round. Love making the bed so easy and so pretty to look at. A great value for the money.

This is a replacement. I looked for it far & wide on line. The matelasse spread kisses the floor of a queen-size Murphy-style bed & covers the pillows. Very true to measurement. 'Teal?'- well- slightly on the slate blue side; very little green, but not blaring BLUE or GREEN as some are that I have shopped. Also it is geometric- NOT floral in pattern. Yes. I would have bought this first! I have NOT washed it yet, but from the way it is constructed, it will be OK even if it shrinks a little. It has straight edges, rather than scalloped on the bottom & sides (along with the top) & would have been easy to hem if it had been too long or wide, which it is not. It is soft, sturdy & tends to stay in place.

When walking into any of our bedrooms, this bedspread is the clear focal point; it is crisp, clean and top-notch. We purchased 3 of your bedspreads: 2 for our children and 1 for us.
