Rated 5 out of 5áby pattonplace I love these pants
I love these pants and wear them a lot. I wear them to ride my bike, walk, yoga, weight lifting and Pilates. They work indoors and out. I asked for a second pair for Christmas so that I won't be without them in case something happens to my first pair. They are great!

Rated 3 out of 5áby efero not flattering, but they work well
Started cross country skiing for the first time this year and needed something other than snowboarding pants. I'm 5'6" with a long body/short legs, so I ordered the petites, and the length is about right. I wasn't happy with the look of them when I first got them. They're not very flattering. I usually don't mind, but these hit me in all the wrong places. The hips and thighs have lots of room and then they taper to the ankles. I didn't want to deal with sending them back and trying a new pair, and they got great reviews, so I took them out today to give them a try. It's about -15F windchill in Indiana today and I wore them with a pair of medium-weight wool long johns, and they worked great! I warm up quickly, though, so I usually don't have a problem with the cold. The only thing I'd love to see on these pants is a way to connect them to your boots so you don't get snow around your ankles. I'm going to sew on some elastic straps like stirrups to fit around the bottom of my boot to help keep the pant leg over my boot. Though I'm still not entirely happy with the way they look, I think they'll do the job. And who cares how you look when you're having fun!

Rated 5 out of 5áby Lee61 Great Pants!
These pants are perfect for me, love the material and the whole look on! The side pockets with zippers and around the ankles just make the pants even better. I am thinking of ordering a 2nd pair....

Rated 5 out of 5áby Latch Sporthill XC Pants are worth your time
I have had these Sporthill XC pants for several months now, using them for running, xc skiing and just around. I love them! Things to note however: when I first got them, I thought they didn't fit because the rise was shorter than I expected. So they felt too tight in the "crotch" area and too short. I called LLBean and they told me that these pants are meant to fit lower on the body than previous similar pants I've had. They ride below the belly button. But for comparison, I did have them send me the next size up, which turned out to be too big. (I'm 5'6" and weigh around 143 lbs. so medium is the proper size). After comparing the 2 sizes, I stuck with the medium and wear them below the belly button and all is good. I really like the weight of the pant....slightly heavier than Sporthill running pants, but not feeling weighted down. They have a nice brushed inside, and a durable outer coat that is perfect against wind. They are a perfect blend of warmth, wind resistance and insulation. Enjoy them. They are worth it..

Rated 5 out of 5áby doggies3 Love these!
Bought these pants after returning flannel lined jeans. Thank goodness the jeans didn't fit because I love these. Pants fit true to size I'm 5'4" 118 lbs. and the small fit great. I can fit a thin pair of long underwear under them. So comfortable, stretchy and great for dog walking. It was 24 degrees with a slight breeze and I was warm. They do seem to run on the short size. They are perfect for my height, but they might run on the short size if you are a couple inches taller. Can't comment on the pilling as others have said, but I only got them to play around outside, so as long as they don't fall apart I'm happy. You will love these pants!

Rated 2 out of 5áby snowshoe13 not for mature full figure
For the price, wish they fit better. They are cut very short in the rise; slim through hips and thighs (modern fit). The petites only go up to large, so ordered regular length. Would like the petites in XL or 1X. The Bean winter pants, after many years of use, I was trying to replace are no longer available. Will keep them because I need warm pants for walking the dogs and snow shoeing, but they aren't what I had hoped they would be.

Rated 5 out of 5áby birdlady04330 Great Pants
I had an ancient version of these with stirrups that I lived in and was bereft when the waistband elastic finally went. I spent a couple of winters without adequate xc ski/snowshoe pants. Until now. These are great! Perfect on their own for skiing, snowshoeing or just birding in mid-20-degree weather. Probably need a layer on colder days. Despite their fatal attraction to dog hair, I am now living in these. They're comfortable, flattering and perform as advertised. I usually wear a 12-14 and bought a large.

Rated 4 out of 5áby janet156 uncomfortable band
I wanted something I could wear this winter in Maine. Didn't want the bulk of snow pants and these came in petite. Being 5ft 145 lbs, these pants are great. Even though they are a little longer than my inseam, it was fine because of the of tapered legs. My only complaint is of the waistband. Having a short torso, these pants hit me just above my navel. It's ok but not comfortable over a period of time. Not sure if I'll be returning them or not.
