Rated 5 out of 5 by Madforelton What Happened to the Perfect Fit Pants Colors?
I have written at least 3 very positive reviews on these pants. They are truly the BEST pants - I literally wear them every day. You can wear them casually or dressed up with heels. But why are you getting rid of the Deepest Brown color?? I had complained about the Fossil Brown being such an ugly (too light) brown color and asked for a deeper brown and you came out with Deepest Brown which was great, but now you are discontinuing it - why?? And why was the Dark Loden color replaced with the ugly light Olive color?? The Dark Loden was nice and I had wanted to try it - which says a lot since I mostly buy Black and some Brown as they are the most universal colors overall. I also saw many reviews that asked for a Burgundy color pant and you came out with the Rust Red (which looks like Burgundy) and you are now discontinuing that as well - what is up?? The darker color pants look better on women's legs. Most of the women buying these pants are not teens or girls in the 20's or even 30's. Most are 40's and up and we have different builds. I can see you keeping the light tan Khaki color for the Summer, but I still say the main colors should be Black, Dark Brown, Dark Grey, Navy, Dark Loden and perhaps a Burgundy color. These are all the most basic foundation colors for people's wardrobes. Please rethink the colors. As for the comments made by some on adding pockets again - PLEASE DON'T OR I CAN NEVER BUY THESE PANTS AGAIN. THE EXTRA POCKET MATERIAL NEAR THE LOWER ABDOMEN WOULD MAKE WOMEN LOOK FAT AND WOULD BUNCH UP.
Also - the fading issue still remains a problem. I buy mostly the Black color pants, and even though I wash them all together using very little detergent in cold water and then hang them to dry - they still fade VERY FAST - other customers have remarked on this as well - fix this and the pants will truly BE PERFECT!
Lastly, I like the slight flare of the boot cut style which is what I buy - it does NOT look anything like a bell bottom at all - people who say this must be used to wearing pants that hug them like they are painted on from thigh to ankle (which in my opinion never looks good - even on real thin people). The boot cut makes the legs look more balanced and slimmer. And I never had any problems with the length so things are good there. Thanks for reading.

I have ordered this pant in the past. The sizing is all off, I ordered the tall 32", however they are not 32". Please check your sizing, ordered them this year in brown and black "M", the pants were too different sizes when held up, even though they both had "M" on them?

Rated 3 out of 5 by iluvclogs Somewhat different than I expected
I own many pairs of perfect fit pants in various colors. I couldn't resist these boot-cut ones in this rich dark brown. The last dark brown perfect fit pants I bought a few years ago developed some strange puckers in the upper leg area. It seemed like the stretchy aspect of the material had somewhat failed. I wore the new ones almost immediately and love the fit and look. My complaints are that these do not have pockets, which was not pointed out in the description. That makes them much less useful for me. Also, the material seems to be getting thinner and more shiny in this pant. I always loved the fact that the Perfect Fit pants were substantial yet flexible so were appropriate for most occasions. I hope they don't get any thinner. I guess I'm still pining for the first pair I bought around 10 years or so ago!

These pants are mostly a dream come true. They fit me perfectly! I prefer the boot cut (no pockets). I have a pair in almost every color. The tan, fossil brown (discontinued) and olive green are nice enough to pass for work slacks. The navy, black and dark brown are a thinner, shinier fabric with a larger "bell" at the bottom. They are more appropriate for casual wear.
Hope LL Bean will upgrade the fabric quality and add the new denim color to the boot cut style.

I just received my pants and was very pleased with the fit. When I compared my measurements with the size chart I was a medium in the hips but a large in the waist. I ordered the medium, regular length and they are very comfortable. The Raw Indigo color looks very nice with most of my shirts and a nice change from blue jeans which I wear most of the time. The only change I would make is it would be nice to have pockets.

These pants are aptly named, as they fit perfectly! And they are very comfortable. The addition of side pockets would be nice, but would probably spoil the look/fit.

I had to return these pants. They were way too big and lacked the heft I expected from the fabric. They felt cheap and were obviously workout pants - would look silly for any other occasion.

I have worn these perfect pants for decades. The last two pair of boot cut perfect pants are differ. The first pair came as advertised, and I am pleased with them. The pair I just received will go back. What is supposed to be boot cut is actually like bell bottoms. Obviously the cut is all wrong.

These pants are the most comfortable pants I have every wore. They are perfect in every way. This is the first time I have ordered from Bean and I will definitely be ordering more of these pants. I ordered 5 pairs. I want every color they have. I work in a doctor's office and these are perfect to wear to work. They feel like pajama's but are dressy. LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have purchased the Perfect Fit pants boot cut in the past 2 years in various colors and love them. They are very comfortable and don't bag anywhere. However, I needed a black pair and ordered a pair in size S in the med/tall length. I need a 32 inch inseam, as described in the description of med/tall, but when I received them they were 31 inches at best in the inseam. Since I had to pay $6.50 to return them, I am reluctant to order a replacement pair in case they are too short, too, and have to pay another return shipment fee. I am wondering what the quality assurance is like. I sure do love these pants but am disappointed in the hit and miss consistency of the inseam lengths.
