Rated 5 out of 5 by ShetlandShepherd GREAT PANTS!
I was hoping for a comfortable alternative to jeans, and these fit the bill ? and ME. I got the medium in medium tall length and they fit my 5'8", 150 lb. athletic body perfectly. Wore them all day yesterday and they were SO comfortable, and didn't bag out anywhere. Nice weight and drape of fabric; SCORE!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MsMeesh I live in these pants!
I came out of the hospital after four months and found the zippers on my jeans were just too much for me. So, I donated all my designer jeans to a store benefiting animals. I didn't want polyester or gathered waist lines. These pants also come in various lengths; perfect without tailoring. I now own several pair in different colors. They go with everything especially the deep grey and the black! These neither shrink nor fade so buy them to wear "as is".
These are very comfortable, quality pants and the boot-cut style adds curves to my frame!

Rated 2 out of 5 by lovesweinerdogs Watch out for Heather Color Perfect Fit Pants
The perfect fit boot cut pants in the solid colors have good quality fabric and the fit is good except for the waist being too large for me.
I can live with that.
The "heather colors" have fabric that is inferior; they are very "cotton-like" and the fabric is thinner than the solid color pants;
After being washed, they are more like "pajama fabric"; not the same quality of the sold color pants of which I have had more than 30 pairs over the years..LL Bean keeps changing the sold color fabrics also but the quality is still there. They have good stretch and
retain their fit over many washings; the fabric is of an appropriate weight for everyday wear. Again the "heather" fabric is different and very thin and more like pajama material; not worth the cost.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Reefgirl Great pants! How about Women's Petite?
These pants are great: quality fabric, wash up beautifully and have a great silhouette. However, I always have to do some alteration because they don't carry Women's Petite. In addition to taking the waistband down about 2 inches, I have to hem the pants one inch. Thankfully, they are very easy to alter as the fabric is easy to sew and the design is fairly simple.
I would definitely recommend these pants to anyone; however, if you're large and petite, you should know how to sew!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MiniKitty The perfect pants
These pants honestly are the perfect fit. I am 44-year-old woman with a square build. I have a flat behind and a bit of a thick waist. It's always been a problem to find pants that fit properly because if they fit the waist, then my behind and my thighs are swimming in fabric, and if they fit my behind and my legs, then I can't button them at the waist.
I decided to try these pants mainly because they look comfortable. I initially bought one pair of boot cut and one pair of regular fit with the pockets. I found that the regular pair with the pockets don't fit all that well; the pockets are very bulky and the waist is very high. The boot cut pants however fit my build perfectly. They sit right about my bellybutton and I have a straight waist so they're perfect. The boot cut gives a little bit of a flare but nothing like a bellbottom; it's very flattering to my build. I wear a M Reg and I like them so much that I bought five more pair.
My recommendations for these pants would be to NOT add pockets--they'll be bulky and they're not necessary and my second recommendation
would be to add more nice dark neutral colors, for example an olive or green--quite dark--and eggplant color would be nice, and maybe a dark gray. I like the idea of the light colors like khaki and beige and light gray but they don't look good on my build, exaggerate my flaws, and they're not as flattering as the dark colors. I agree with one of the other reviewers that said that older women prefer to wear the darker colors but it's nice to have a color thats not black!
Basically, best, most comfortable pants I've ever owned.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MissingCalif Great fit & comfortable
These pants fit me very well and are very comfortable to wear. The only problem is the color fading on Classic Navy. The navy color is already not dark enough and after 2 washes the navy color became greyish navy which I don't like. If LLBean can improve on this problem these pants will be truly "perfect".

Rated 5 out of 5 by LAK1 As described in the product
These pants are as described. Fit is dead on (for size listed), looks good, excellent material and correct length. Not sure why there were the number of 1 stars but there you have it. Waist does fit like jeans that are above the hips and at the waist but I think that's because most people who say these are too high want low on the hips pants (my mom called them hip huggers) - these are not super low but the description doesn't say low so my recommendation is to check your size and read the description before you buy. Got the straight leg too. Those are also as described. Purchased a total of 5 prs with no problems on length or size so don't believe everything you read about 'issues' with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by qwas123 Wonderful Fit and a Comment on Colors
Completely agree with others - NO pockets. Adding pockets would create an unflattering look. Putting things in the pockets, well it would look odd with all those bumps and shapes protruding from the leg. (If pockets are added, I would like to be able to easily cut them out without affecting the actual pant.)
Also, another reviewer is spot on with the comments on colors. Dark pants always look better, no matter what age. Stick with the dark neutrals:
Dark Grey, but not "heathered"...which looks like pjs
Navy (yes, navy is a wonderful neutral!)
For a bit more of a difference in color, but still nice and dark:
These dark colors are flattering and add a bit of punch to a normally black only item. Please supply more dark neutrals. I personally try to avoid black since that has been the only option for so long in dress and yoga pants. If you could have only heard my ecstatic yelp of glee when I found these pants in dark brown and navy.
I love the bootcut fit and style. All the pairs I have bought do not appear too 60s bellbottom-y. They drape nicely over my walking shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Madforelton What Happened to the Perfect Fit Pants Colors?
I have written at least 3 very positive reviews on these pants. They are truly the BEST pants - I literally wear them every day. You can wear them casually or dressed up with heels. But why are you getting rid of the Deepest Brown color?? I had complained about the Fossil Brown being such an ugly (too light) brown color and asked for a deeper brown and you came out with Deepest Brown which was great, but now you are discontinuing it - why?? And why was the Dark Loden color replaced with the ugly light Olive color?? The Dark Loden was nice and I had wanted to try it - which says a lot since I mostly buy Black and some Brown as they are the most universal colors overall. I also saw many reviews that asked for a Burgundy color pant and you came out with the Rust Red (which looks like Burgundy) and you are now discontinuing that as well - what is up?? The darker color pants look better on women's legs. Most of the women buying these pants are not teens or girls in the 20's or even 30's. Most are 40's and up and we have different builds. I can see you keeping the light tan Khaki color for the Summer, but I still say the main colors should be Black, Dark Brown, Dark Grey, Navy, Dark Loden and perhaps a Burgundy color. These are all the most basic foundation colors for people's wardrobes. Please rethink the colors. As for the comments made by some on adding pockets again - PLEASE DON'T OR I CAN NEVER BUY THESE PANTS AGAIN. THE EXTRA POCKET MATERIAL NEAR THE LOWER ABDOMEN WOULD MAKE WOMEN LOOK FAT AND WOULD BUNCH UP.
Also - the fading issue still remains a problem. I buy mostly the Black color pants, and even though I wash them all together using very little detergent in cold water and then hang them to dry - they still fade VERY FAST - other customers have remarked on this as well - fix this and the pants will truly BE PERFECT!
Lastly, I like the slight flare of the boot cut style which is what I buy - it does NOT look anything like a bell bottom at all - people who say this must be used to wearing pants that hug them like they are painted on from thigh to ankle (which in my opinion never looks good - even on real thin people). The boot cut makes the legs look more balanced and slimmer. And I never had any problems with the length so things are good there. Thanks for reading.
