This is a great shirt for clays and skeet but not in blaze orange.
Please offer other colors.

With many choices for on-line shopping, I often forget about LL Bean...why!? With free shipping, superb quality and gear service, they set the standard. This shirt is just one example- great quality and designed for the field, it's easily worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TravelingRancher Orange Doesn't Work For Me
These were my favorite shirts until the shoulder pad and briar cuffs were limited to flaming orange. I don't use them for hunting. They, along with the briar pants, are what my wife calls my "ranch uniform." We are in sand burr and barbed wire country. These shirts stand up to both. They don't hold moisture like regular cotton but feel like a hard finish cotton. They don't have that spandex-like feel that some of the new high-tech fabrics have, which I can't stand. I also wear them when traveling because they are not only the most comfortable shirts I have ever owned but the zipper front pockets are great for securing airline tickets and passports yet allowing one-hand access while carrying a travel bag.
Bright orange doesn't work for everyday use so I have stopped buying them until they are available in with the shoulders and cuffs available in colors similar to the old ones - colors that work on the ranch, in town and in airports.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Norm2Norm Comfortable and performs as advertised
I usually don?t bother writing reviews, but I am so happy with this shirt that it deserves an excellent rating and maybe this review will help others that are in the market for a similar product.
I have only used it twice so far, but it certainly performs as advertised and I agree with the other people that gave this product an excellent rating.
In this day and age of trying to second guess all the claims made about products it is so nice to find a company that really delivers.
I was so impressed that I have also ordered the briar pants that L. L. Bean sells and if I am as happy with that product as I am with this shirt I will be writing another review.
Thanks L. L. Bean for being a company that I can trust.

Rated 2 out of 5 by RingneckCracy Not Insulated
A few years ago, this same shirt was made with an insulated lining. With that shirt all I had to do is change base layers and I could walk for pheasants in just about any cold weather conditions. It's wind stopping capabilities were outstanding and the thin liner gave me just enough cold weather protection as long as I was walking. Sorry that LL Bean stopped making the version with the lining. Lucky my son and I order an extra one two years ago and they are still in the bag. Not sure what we will do when they are gone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CayenneRuby Upland Briar Shirt
Bought this for upland hunting in NH. Fits comfortably, material is light and does breath. Have used this in thick cover, warm and cold Fall hunts. Like the hidden slash pockets, and orange accents, would buy another.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LAKESREGIONMANIAC Great buy!
This was my first "true" hunting shirt, meaning it was designed to be used as such and it lived to my expectations. Very comfortable, cool and the pockets are placed in the correct locations. Very good buy and priced accordingly!

Rated 5 out of 5 by BirdHunter01 Men's Upland Briar Shirt
Great Shirt, turns rough cover, the slash pockets are especially nice. I used these shirts during last bird season with no problem, very well made and I would recommend them for any serious bird hunter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ContrarianView A great shirt!
This shirt looks so good and works so well that I'm buying another one.
Wore it on a cool, breezy day for trap. It was a little cold out and I was under-dressed, but the material blocked the wind surprisingly well.
