Product Details

  • Complete set of seven 5-foot-long polyleaders
  • Welded loop allows for quick leader change
  • Includes organizer wallet

Acting like an extension of your fly line, Airflo polyleaders transfer casting energy to your fly better than standard monofilament leaders. The result is consistently better turnover of strike indicators and large flies. These leaders also allow the use of long tippets up to 5' in length, creating an overall leader length of up to 10'. Equipped with a 12 lb. test monofilament loop – all you have to do is attach your tippet and tie on a fly.

Includes floating, hover 0.8 ips, intermediate 1.5 ips, slow sink 2.6 ips, fast sink 3.9 ips, super-fast sink 4.9 ips and extra super-fast sink 6.1 ips. Designed for use with line weights 5 through 7. Made in England.

On clear, calm water where fish are wary, use the smallest diameter tippet possible (e.g., with a #16 fly, use a 6X tippet rather than a 4X or 5X).

On turbulent or discolored water, use the largest tippet diameter.

With a weighted or bulky fly (like a bass bug), consider using one tippet size larger than what would be called for.
