My son had outgrown kids helmets and was instantly drawn to the very cool high-vis color, I was psyched it has a pinch free clasp, is safe and super comfy. Whether you are going for a 20k or just around the block this is a great helmet.

I bought this helmet in red for my high school junior son. This helmet can be adjusted easily for a perfect fit. It also looks great on him. It is certainly a great product at a reasonable price, plus LLBean's guarantee. We couldn't ask for more. We are very pleased with it. Definitely recommend it.

This Bell helmet is even better than a similar Bell unit I received about ten years ago. Relative to the earlier product, the outer shell is now rigidly attached to the inner styrofoam part, the headband is now continuously adjustable by means of gear mechanism at the back of the headband, and the ariflow is better.
It is so light that I actually stopped to check if it was on my head on two occassions, shortly after I started using it.

I have a large head size so am pleased with the adjustable back of this helmet.
The chin straps seem to be put in wrong as they do not fit flatly against the sides of my face but fit on an outward angle.

Almost 50, and this is my first helmet!
Seems to be fine. great fit (thanks to L.L. Bean clerk) comfortable and not hot.
Hope I never have to find out how good it is!

This is my first bike helmet, and I am impressed. I didn't think I'd do well wearing one, but decided I'd better take better care of myself. I purchased the pink one, and it is very pretty! But better than that, it fits well, is easy to adjust, and is so lightweight I really don't know I'm wearing it. I recommend this product.

I have a large head and this is the first helmet that seems to fit correctly. Lightweight, easy adjust, decent ventilation, and I like the white color. Great price, too.

I bought this for my 73 year old father who just got a new bike. I was concerned for safety and that he would actually wear it. He said it is very comfortable and light and liked the colors ( red, grey, etc). The Bell logo is displayed on this helmet and he liked that. His head is larger and this adjusted to fit comfortablely. It also lets the air through, which is important given he lives in Florida!
