Kids Discovery Rain Pants are the best you can buy for your active grandchildren. they last, are durable, and can be passed down. As a matter of fact there has not been any thing purchased from LLBean for my 14 grandchldren that has not gone through at least 3 of them. What would we do without the quality Bean supplies?

My daughter loves these pants. This last purchase was just to order a larger size. I'll keep coming back for bigger sizes if they keep this quality up. We even used them as snowpants a time or two this winter when I left her snowpants at school and she wanted to come out and help shovel.

Perfect for our needs...for splashing in puddles! Fit securely around rubber boots and keeps our little guy dry. They wash great too (no dryer). Will definitely buy these again when he outgrows this pair!

Keeping us dry as promised. The fabric is light but waterproof. The slippery inside is a plus when wearing over leggings or jeans, a but cold feeling though on bare legs. The velcro flaps at the ankles are a plus -- the pants are a bit big now for growing room, and the velcro at the ankles keeps the extra length from flopping down over the rainboots.

My 6 year old loves to play in the mud and always comes home wet and muddy. I thought we'd give these rain pants a try. They are fantastic! She calls them her lucky pants. She even wore them on a warm spring day in the wet snow and went sledding. She also claims they help her do a better cartwheel. lol. She is a tall, thin child, I ordered a 6x-7 and they are just right, she has room to grow into them but they aren't so big that they fall off over other pants.

This purchase was actually buying the next size up for both of my girls, 7 and 4. The last ones are still in excellent condition having endured a wet fall and wet spring walking back and forth to school every day and recess. They adore the bright pink color and they are sized perfectly to fit over sweat pants or tights. They also like the velcro closures at the ankles that allow them to be secured around the top of the rain boot. I anticipate that I will be buying these for many years to come.

We purchased these pants for my 5 year old son to use in the rain and slush at his outdoor preschool. He has been using these at least once a week for 2 months and they are still in great shape- and I know they take a beating with lots of tree climbing, running, sliding, and rolling around with other kids. Recently, he wore them for about 2 hours when it was snowing/raining the whole time and his pants were very wet on the outside, but his layers underneath were completely dry. And, the fact that the waistband is completely elastic means he can take them on and off all by himself- a huge plus. I couldn't be happier with these pants!

My son needed rain pants for his nature preschool. This is where other parents sent me. Yesterday was the first time he wore them and I give them 2 thumbs up! Easy on and off. He stayed dry and comfortable. All while getting out and enjoying a misty fall day.

Great value, easy on...easy off, the way they should be. As for the color, unless your kid is never in the mud and puddles, I will avoid yellow.
