Rated 3 out of 5 by LegumeLovr Great product, lousy inventory control
I love the Bean polo shirts I've gotten, BUT...the inventory control and color selections leave much to be desired. I got the first catalog to feature the teal color less than a week ago and that color is already sold out. The same thing happened with another shirt I would have gotten in the Spring. LLBean has lost so many sales from our family because their inventory control is so lacking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by EditorInSeattle Best Polo I've Ever Worn! However...
I currently own over a dozen of the Double L Polos and just recently purchased 4 more embroidered shirts for conference work.
I am 6 ft. / 185 lbs. and wear a Medium-Tall or a Slightly Fitted Large-Tall. Others may not require the Tall option, but I like the longer tails so the shirt stays tucked in, and am willing to pay extra for the tall option.
The shirts launder well, don't require ironing (even though I do a quick touch-up), and have stood the test of time. Polos I purchased four years ago and wear/wash at least 12-15 times a year are still in great shape. However....
I have noticed recently that the Double L Polos are now imported from two different countries: Vietnam and Thailand. The Vietnam polos I've received (about 5 shirts) are looser fitting through the chest and waist than the Thailand shirts. I much prefer the fit of the Thailand shirts and ended up sending back the Vietnam imported polos. To be clear, the quality of both shirts (Vietnam/Thailand) looked and felt the same, the sizing was just different between the two imports.
In spite of this odd sizing issue, the Double L polo is an exceptional shirt, especially at under $35.00 for the Tall option. I highly recommend them.

I don't understand it the Henlys in medium fit perfect, these shirts are to big. Bring back the trim fit or make these shirts a proper medium

Rated 5 out of 5 by Blacksmithking Love these shirts, but the colors are bright
I love the fit and quality of these shirts. I buy a half dozen or more of them at once and wear them until they tear at the bands on the sleeve or holes appear near the buttons in the collar. The colors seem to be running bright on this run, though. The cottage red is more of a bright red, for example. It's not bad but it's louder than I like. I'm waiting for the darker Fall colors, such as dark brown, brick red, dark green, burnt orange, etc.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BeaninMaryland Great shirt BUT length way too long
These remain great quality shirts. However, Bean changed the length for better ability to tuck into pants, but if worn untucked the length makes it look like a dress! LL Bean: please shorten the length back to what it used to be!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Clevelander123 Medium Tall--a perfect fit!
My husband is 6'3" and thin. It is impossible to find shirts for him in stores so we shop online. We ordered 2 of these polos on sale and they are perfect! Great quality and fit. Please don't change a thing!
I only wish the long sleeve polos had a 36 inch sleeve length in medium tall. The large tall has that sleeve length but not the medium. Tall thin men often have long arms!

Rated 2 out of 5 by nhtool Sleeves way too big.
Waited awhile for new color, Elm, only to find the fit is not the same. Sleeves are at least 2-3 inches too wide as well as the neck opening. Size large used to be perfect for me as I still have a couple older ones and they fit perfect. Come on LL, please fix this issue. Love the shirt, hate the fit.
