Rated 5 out of 5 by dadshops white all-weather furniture
We purchased the white all-weather table and chairs for our deck this spring (see my original review below). Everything about them is great except that the little nooks and crannies on the surface trap pollen and other particles, and it's very hard to get rid of that completely. The fresh-out-of-the-box blinding white has given way to something that looks just a little bit weathered. I have used a scrub brush and the rough side of a sponge, both of which help, but I suspect only a power washing will get rid of all of it. Probably not an issue with the darker colors, and it's not a deal-breaker with the white, but it is something to be aware of.

We purchased four garden chairs and the rectangle table in white. We love them! All pieces are sturdy, heavy, easy to clean and look nice. It took some effort to assemble all the pieces and the provided tool is tiresome. My clever husband sawed off the end of the tool and fit it into a power drill which worked great. The pre-assembled arms/sides of the chairs were assembled backwards so if your chair sits odd, check that before you proceed. LL Bean customer service was very responsive when we called and notified them of that problem. Apparently we were the first customer with that issue [which we corrected].
My only minor complaint is the table size -- it's quite narrow so buying tablecloths that fit has been a bit of a challenge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by b3ck79 Review from happy long, long, long time owner
I purchased the green square table + 4 chairs about 5+ years ago, AND... have 2 rockers + 2 Adirondack chairs - also green and the same material - that were purchased ~15 years ago.
All have been outdoors on an uncovered deck in rain, snow, sun, heat -- this is Indiana and they never come indoors or get covered or protected. They get lots of use.
The older pieces might be beginning to fade just a little; the newer (5-year old) ones look like the day they were delivered. Nothing has gotten loose or wobbly; all hardware is still tight and rust-free.
These might be the best purchases I've ever made.

by TheSartorialBean Great!
I did a lot of research before settling on this table and chairs, and it paid off handsomely. My primary concern was whether I would like the all-weather material. The "wood" turns out to be good-looking and gratifyingly substantial. The table is very stable, and the chairs are comfortable and slide easily on the deck. It's a setup that has prompted many a guest to sit down and linger.
We have the deck power washed every spring, and next year, the furniture will simply be power washed right along with it--a nice change from having the old wooden furniture scraped and painted. White was a great choice to go with the blue striped cushions and blue umbrella. I couldn't be happier!

by dadshops All-weather rectangular table + chairs
We just purchased the rectangular all-weather table, two all-weather garden chairs and four all-weather side chairs, in white. The garden chairs have the same back design as the side chairs, so they match nicely. The whole set is very, very sturdy and looks great on our grey and white deck. Crisp and classic.
For assembly, a cordless drill worked better than the tools that came with the pieces.
We saw similar sets elsewhere online for less than what we paid for all the pieces, but while the exact same 72" table seems to be offered by a lot of sellers (I suspect the same manufacturer, Poly-Wood, works for Bean and many other vendors), the chairs that came in those sets were cheaper-looking than and not as well-designed as the Bean ones. We opted for the higher LL Bean price to get the better-looking chairs and the no-hassle warranty service. So glad we did!

by RelaxingOnTheDeck Worth the wait!
I've been drooling over this table in the catalog for well over a year. 20% off sale (for LLBean card holders) convinced me to splurge. I LOVE IT!! So happy I didn't buy a cheaper table and waited for this one. Bought the bigger of the two. Had a nice dinner party the other night and everyone complimented me on the table and folding chairs. Not much assembly but it did require some muscle to turn the allen wrench (thank you neighbor Dave!). Phillips head screws would have been easier. It is beautiful, easy to clean, no splinters, and water beads right up. Extremely happy customer!

Rated 5 out of 5 Great selection!
We purchased both the folding chairs and the table - they are awesome! Everyone thinks they are real wood - they are very heavy duty and solid. Only recommendation - have a rachet wrench available when you are putting the table together - the Allen wrench included is time consuming and follow the instructions - do not tighten the legs to the top of the table until you have the center stablizer bars in - We look forward to years of enjoying our purchase.

Very substantial table, simple styling, seems indestructible and maintenance free. We continue to choose Beans for purchases like a deck table because we have found that Beans meets our expectations for quality and service. This table and the matching chairs exceed our expectations.

I've been looking at this table for a couple of years and finally decided to put out the $$$ to buy it and matching chairs. Both are very heavy and sturdy, however I was a bit disappointed to find some "nicks" in the tabletop -- apparently defects in the manufacturing process. I could probably send it back, but it was really a bit harder than I thought to put together and I don't want to have to take it apart, ship it and put a new one back together. The bolts need to not be painted since the hex heads are all filled with paint and hard to get the hex tool in deep enough to get a good grip. What ever happened to plain ole screws? Overall, I'm relatively happy, but struggled more than I would have liked to putting it together -- as a solo woman.
