I thought this steel saucer would be a quality product that would provide years of carefree use. After one use at our local sledding hill, it looked like someone took a sledgehammer to it. I was in complete disbelief at the sight of it. Pictures say it all. The product is being returned and, in my opinion is not the quality I expect from anything sold by LL Bean.

We have not had any snow to try this out, but it is similar to saucers we had as kids, and I hope my grandsons and niece and nephews will enjoy them. They seem very sturdy.

I was very impressed with the quality of this saucer and I wished I bought two while on sale. I bought it for my daughter(10) but I would like to race down the hill with her.
I am more pleasantly surprised that it's Made in USA!

Rated 5 out of 5 by soulsrch heavy but sturdy
The children did not get a chance to try out the saucers yet. Given the sturdy metal construction I'm guessing they will slide down the hill well. However, they are a bit heavy; hopefully not too heavy for my granddaughters whom are age 3 and five. But they have parents and grandparents to help until strong enough to lug them around and back up the hill.

These snow saucers were better than I expected. (I bought two for grandsons.)
I can't wait to give them at Christmas!

Can't wait to use it! We ordered this b/c it has a higher than normal weight limitation (kids-adults), it arrived promptly, seems sturdy and we're sure to get years of use out of it!
