These are great. Good optics, good focusing and balance. The field of view is very helpful, and I just love the way they feel.
With the Nikon reputation and LLBean's return policy, you can't go wrong.

These are really awesome. Incredible clarity, moderately priced, sturdy. They are heavy enough that I probably wouldn't take them on a walk... but I knew that when I got them. Easy to use, and they just give an amazing view. I can see the birds on the lake so close they seem as though I could touch them.

These binoculars live up to the fine name Nikon has earned. They are a little larger than we expected because of their ability to see a much wider field than most binoculars. It is easy to use them. We feel this is an excellent product.

I've only had these a couple weeks but have used them three or four times. My old set were 7x35 and these are a tremendous improvement. These are heavier though. I can't believe how clear the image is. I looked at the full moon the other night and the view seemed as good as with my telescope. I can view many objects with clarity one half mile away. They come in a nice bag and the lens caps are all connected so you can't lose them.

I bought these to replace 12-power Pentax glasses mounted on a tripod to watch shipping on the Saint Lawrence Seaway from my living room window. These glasses are crystal clear and easily stabilized so I can see twelve miles down the river to the Ogdensburg Bridge, and count the cars traversing to and from Canada. No lie!

I'm not an expert. My uncle-in-law (the seasoned bird watcher) recommended not to get more than 10 and less than 42 for the magnification, so I confidently ordered the 10x50. I had read lots of reviews saying that "this was a great option in this price range". . . well, I honestly can't figure how binoculars could possibly get better than these. They're fantastic! So clear and sharp, quality Nikon and L.L.Bean guarantee!

Ordered when on backorder - once again LLBEAN came through and delivered before the approx delivery date.
Haven't really had a chance to use them much yet, but they seem to be just what we need for the beach - had read all reviews and these seem fine. Very much like the strap that attaches to the lense caps so you cannot lose them.
Only gave it a "4" since we really haven't had too much of an opportunity to use it yet.

These are great pair of binoculars. They have unlimited uses (birding, hunting, general outdoor use). I did break my first pair by falling on a rock wall, but LL Bean replaced them free of charge (i love LL Bean). For that reason I would never buy binoculars from any other store. Breaking them was my fault and any pair would have broken the same way. These are great for the price, have a great image, and I'd highly recommend them.

This is a good second pair of general purpose binoculars that you keep handy by your picture window. Easy focusing and adjusting for different users.
You can leave them out for company and children to use without worrying that they will damage your high end expensive binoculars.
