Rated 5 out of 5 by Appyfive Very well made poles
My partner and I use these poles for snowshoe hikes, skiing and walking with crampons throughout the winter. Once tightened they stay extended but are very easy to compact following the trip. These are very dependable poles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SmarTodd Great Value
Light, easy to adjust and good hand grips make this a good value. I never used poles with snow shoes before but I will from now on.
The baskets could be a little bigger, but not much.
Glad to have them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Loism Basket Installation Easy
After reading how much trouble people were having installing the baskets, I was prepared for the worst. Fortunately the instructions were very clear and it was easy to get the baskets on the poles. The poles are well-made and look like they'll do the job. I'm looking forward to trying them out!

Rated 4 out of 5 by oldgabe Men's winter walker snowshoe poles
Well made--sturdy and light weight. Was surprised there was not a more of a point at the tip. My old ones, also from LL Bean, had that feature and I liked it for walking on ice. We've had a lot of ice this winter. Haven't used these new ones for that purpose so not sure if they will work as well. Unfortunately I damaged one of my old poles through misuse--my error--otherwise they likely would have lasted just fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by gstraz Worth the money!
I started snowshoeing with a pair of cheap poles..not so good. Got these, and am happy I did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by lovestohikemtns Lightweight and strong
These were purchased for my husband and he used them yesterday for the first time. He says that they are easy to adjust and he likes that they extend enough for his height (6'2"). The poles are lightweight without sacrificing strength. His only recommendation for improvement would be a larger diameter snow basket to improve performance in soft snow.
