Rated 5 out of 5áby LUVmypuppies WoW ---AMAZING
Wow, I should have purchased these years ago.!!!!!
I put these on for our first snow/ice yesterday in Denver.
They are so easy and fast to slip on. Easy and fast is good as my 2 pups cannot wait to get out the door to go for their walk.
I feel secure as I walk on the ice that I will not fall.
Like having studded snow tires for your feet!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have used the no slip type "add ons" (Stabilicers) for several years and they are literally life savers here in Ohio. You couldn't slide on the ice if you tried. A must for anyone with bones!!!

Rated 5 out of 5áby SusanFromVermont Safer to walk on ice!
These ice cleats can help prevent injuries. Snow can cover ice, and falling hurts! They slip over boots easily, with a bit of stretching. Most of the time they stay on well, but if the snow is heavy or there are melting conditions, they might be sucked off your feet. I have experimented with ways to tie them on, and hopefully my chosen method will work this time. (I lost a pair in melting conditions last winter, and never found them.) Also, these Stabilicers are sturdy and last well.

I had a pair of these ice cleats that I loved and they developed a tear on the strap. I took them back and without any hesitation a new pair was shipped to me as the store was out of them. Another high five for the customer service!!!

Rated 5 out of 5áby migdaw Perfect for ice
Ten stars! I cannot recommend these highly enough. I am a 73-year-old woman relocated from California to Wisconsin last October, just in time for a midwestern winter. I was terrified of falling on ice and was thrilled to find this product. It was an absolute Godsend. I could RUN on ice ! ! !
Unless you have VERY small feet, order Medium instead of Small.
I spent the winter extolling its virtues to every old person I saw. If LLBean noticed an upsurge in sales from Northern Wisconsin, they owe me a commission!
Having used them for an entire (very long and severe) winter, I would be willing to pay $100 for them. How much would you pay to prevent falling on ice?
Thanks, LLBean, for this wonderful product.

A friend swears by the more expensive, strapped style, but she is very outdoorsy. I decided to try the less aggressive style to start, for mostly level walks in the woods when conditions were well packed but icy. The first pair, small, did not comfortably fit on a size 8 pair of Winter hiking shoes, so I returned for medium. These seem perfect. By now the trails are almost completely clear in Central NH, and I'm NOT complaining, but I will have to wait to test drive them. They certainly seem well made, and the cleats appear to be the right tool for the type of walking I'm interested in. I gave 4 stars for quality, since I can't report on functionality yet. Hopefully a 5 at that point!

I have not had ice since receiving the Stabilicers but they fit my shoes properly and from the construction I am sure they will work great for walking on ice.

Rated 5 out of 5áby NorthwoodsRose stabilicers are the bomb
I live in the Northwoods, where traction is critical in the winter. LL Bean Stabilicers perform 12,000 times better than the "other" leading competitor. Stabilicers win, hands down, no contest. End of discussion. (The other ones don't grip like Stabilicers, and the coils got caught on each other once, causing me to land face first on a snowy, icy road. Fortunately, snow softened the fall, no bloody nose.)

This item has saved me many times in the Vermont winters. I have tried many other devices but they don't work as well.

Haven't had a chance to try them out (our ice is now melting/melted) but do have them for next winter. My old ice grippers (non-LL Bean) have worn out and had heard that these were better walking in and stronger. They look great and can't wait to try them next time around!
