Rated 5 out of 5�by Tbuster Rugged and Comfortable This boot is very comfortable, waterproof and rugged. You can wear them right out of the box with no break in period. With the lacing system they are easy to take on or off and offer a high degree of protection from brush briars, rocks in addition to snakes. I wash mine at the end of the season let dry and give them a silicone treatment. This will be the fourth year for them and they are like new. Hopefully I never get to try out the snakeproof part but I am sure they will work. October 21, 2010

Rated 5 out of 5�by pleasedagain Just What I Wanted I cut down a lot trees and stomp through a lot of snake infested brush piles and had been looking for a pair of boots to offer protection from snakes, chainsaws, abrasions, poison oak and ivy, protection from ticks, and to reduce trash getting into my boots. This boot meets all my requirements and is very lightweight and comfortable to boot. They are a little stiff on the top of the foot at the bend, which is probably to be expected. They have a nice beefy tread which grips well. I'm 6' tall and the boot comes to my knee. The lacing makes putting the boot on and removal very easy. The boots are very breatheable and my feet never get hot. I usually wear a size 10.5 or 11.0, depending on the shoe or boot. I ordered a size 10.5 and found it fits well without the toe bumping the end and this size allows plenty of room for a heavy boot sock. Construction seems relatively rugged but I have not worn them long enough to tell how well they will hold up over time, but I expect they will last a good long time. I am very pleased with this boot. I highly recommend it. I think they are a good value. November 8, 2008

Rated 5 out of 5�by SCal Snake Boots This is a great boot! It's hard to find a really tall boot. We have rattle Snakes on our property, so when cleaning brush one needs a tall, thick boat. Also, has saved my left foot when cutting tree limbs with a chainsaw! Cut the outter leather, but didn't go through the lining. We have wet gress in morning due to night time fog, this boot is truly water proof! June 25, 2008
