Liked it when I pulled it out of the bag, however it did shrink when it was washed, even though in cold and I laid it flat to dry. Much shorter now. I'm going to keep it but looks a bit funny, not going to wear it out for dinner or anything now. I do like the color, fabric and feel of it, other than being too short it is a nice shirt. Sure do wish LL Bean had a better plus size color selection, and every shirt style has the same to choose from, I would buy more if the colors were there.

My husband LOVES his LL Bean tees so I ordered some for me. When I wore the white one he asked me if I took one of his undershirts. These tees are boxey like a mans tee. I tend to wear looser clothing but this had no shape. The green was a funky color green. I returned both.

So it's not just me. It's spring, so I just got one of my LL Bean T's out and it was way short. I was actually dismayed--I'll have to toss it!! I thought I'd look to see if this was part of the style, in other words, how does LLB describe where it is supposed to fall. It say's at hip--mine barely clears my waist in size large. I got mine a few years ago and I thought that maybe the style had changed, but the photo and description show what I bought a few years back. What good is a summer T if you can't wash it and dry it in the machine? I have to admit, I am looking for clothes that offer more contemporary styles, have better fit, and quality construction. This is too bad for I am a longtime LLBean customer and I used to count on its quality. Things seemed to have changed with the recession. There is no style to LLBean anymore; the fit is so variable; the quality is slipping. The colors can be a little weird too. Where are these garments being made? Perhaps charging a bit more and choosing better vendors would be wise. I don't plan to purchase a LL Bean T this year.

I have to give this particular item a low score. It may be because I'm decidedly not a knit pima cotton fan, but mostly it's because of the fit. Even if you follow the washing and drying instructions to a T, it will shrink, so if you are the kind of person who likes foolproof clothing, you might think twice about this item. Also, it says 'fall at the hip' -- it barely does that and I'm not long-waisted. It's short and the arm holes are small. So, my best suggestion is to order a size up, even though I lost interest in this item permanently. BTW, I have other "small size" items through LLBean with no issue. Just as a reference point.

This is my first Bean's T and I have yet to wash it. I did wear it once and found the length perfect and very comfortable. I won't dry it, as everything I have purchased from Bean shrinks up short when dried, but fit great as long as I lay all shirts from Bean flat to dry. Wish you carried more colors for plus size, so limited right now. I would buy more if there was a better selection.

I just rec'd several I had ordered per the size and "fit" I've ordered in the past. Once again, llb's sizing has gone in some other direction. They're neither too large nor too small; rather they are large in some areas and small in others. Over all a very strange fit. It's too bad, the colors are nice, but they're all heading back to llb.

It was a very nice shirt with a roomy fit until I washed it. It became 1.5" shorter after a first wash and dry, and now is 3" shorter. It has become very wide at the waist, but the chest and arms feel tight. I didn't gain any weight. My trust in LLBean is no more.

This t-shirt was a gift, and when I first got it I thought I would buy every color because the feel is wonderful. But now that it has been washed a few times and I can no longer wear it because it is so short I am glad I don't own a lot of them, just 2.
Not what I thought I would get from LL Bean. Very disappointing.

I got two of these and 1 of the pima t shirts. I like the colors in these better, but like the fit of the pima better in regards to the underarms. But the pima shrinks especially in length--these did not shrink. I washed in cool water and hung to dry. Fix the underarms and these would be the perfect tee shirt!

Great colors; however, laundered according to directions and the shirts shrunk. They are now almost two inches shorter than when purchased, and significantly tighter as well. Regret having to return them as the initial fit and the colors were perfect.
