Rated 4 out of 5 by Snowhuskyboy lightweight, thin and sharp, but needs 2 hands
I'm a longtime fan of Gerber knives and, on most counts, this knife is a worthwhile purchase. It is very lightweight and compact--fits in a front jeans pocket without trouble. It is thin and the clip is a nice additional feature. The blade can be easily sharpened and keeps a good edge. Only one negative--this is a knife that really requires two hands to open and one to close. A stud at the hilt of the blade would be a great addition to make it a one-hand flip open blade.

It is a nice littlw knife. The blade locking system is somewhat difficult to unlock in order to fold in the blade

This is a nice little pocket knife. I would recommend it to keep in your pocket, purse, or car.

It's well made but it's just smaller than I expected it's my bad for not reading the dimension.

I have lots of knives from all over the world. This is a great small knife. Extremely lightweight and extremely sharp.

This knife is a light and slim pocket companion. I have only two issues., both minor. First, it is not provisioned for one-handed opening. Second, the blade locking mechanism is very tight making it very difficult to close the blade. Time or a file should cure the second issue in time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Heaf A useful, little knife
I'm a big fan of this little knife. After losing my last one, I had to replace it as fast as I could. I have a number of other folders, but none are appropriate for an office setting. This little guy fits unobtrusively in my front pocket and is used for opening boxes, cutting zip ties... you name it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Colorado57 Locking mechanism failed after little use
After fewer than a dozen uses, the locking bar that holds the knife blade open failed to lock into place. The knife is an attractive size and arrived sharp, but this defect in design or manufacture rendered my knife essentially useless. On the positive side, returning an item to LL Bean via UPS, as I am doing with this Gerber knife, is very easy to do.

I PREFER A STRAIGHT EDGE BLADE BECAUSE I AM LEFT HANDED. THIS KNIFE REPLACED A BULKY, SMALL ONE I CARRY IN THE WATCH POCKET OF MY JEANS. OPENED THE FIRST BAG OF DOG FOOD TODAY, MUCH EASIER THAN OLD KNIFE WITH SERRATED BLADE. HOPE BEAN HAS IT'S "BIG BROTHER" THE FULL SIZE ON SALE SOON. I WISH IT HAD A LOOP ON IT, BUT I USED LEATHER LACING TO MAKE A PULL CORD.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BriOD Small and Lightweight Pocket Knife
My regular pocket knife has a very small main blade so I was looking for a good small lock blade to carry with it. This one from Gerber works very well especially for the price. Compact for a lock blade and light weight it has a 21/4" blade. Comfortable in hand and easy to carry with or without the clip. Im thinking about getting another, it'll be a great stocking stuffer this Christmas.
