Rated 5 out of 5 by Middleweight Hydroskin socks did the job
I purchased the hydroskin socks to wear under my water shoes for an extra layer of protection. I'm diabetic and a foot injury is the last thing I need. I wore them while kayaking and stand up paddleboarding. They were comfortable and kept my feet dry. I would definitely recommend this product.

I live in the northeast and love to paddle. It gets tough after mid-October as the temps drop. I added these neoprene socks under my neoprene boots as an added layer of warmth. They work great and I was able to paddle well into November this year; there were snow showers around the last day I paddled. I'm looking forward to an early start to the paddling season with these.

Wasn't quite what I was looking for. They say they are insulated but they are not. Just really good Neoprene booties. They fit great and do (Help) keep your feet warm.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I use my Keen sandals to kayak on the lakes. Of course sand and mud get under my feet. I wanted a thin hydroskin socks to wear with my Keen sandals. These are thin enough so that my Keens are not too tight and seem strong enough to last. As other reviews mentioned the heels are alittle large but that does not bother me. I have only worn them around house so I hope that they stay up when I am walking in the water and mud. I am not sure about warmth, I only kayak in warmer weather, so will see next spring if they are warm. The medium fit me good, I wear a size 8 or 8.5 in womens shoes.

I wear these socks with my titanium booties as an added layer of warmth and protection from the cold water when kayaking. The socks don't have much stretch, which is why I give them 4 instead of 5 stars, but they are still great socks for water activities in the cooler weather.

I bought these to supplement my booties on my Kennebec waders and for using in my cheap river wading boots. Very comfortable and my feet actually got very warm in the river these past couple outings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by nicknamer Hydroskin socks for kayaking
I haver a large foot, size 13 1/2, so I purchased the largest Hydroskin sock available. Tight fit, especially around the in-sole, but really does the job! Doesn't keep the water out, but does keep my feet warm, which was an issue before with early and late season kayaking in VT. Highly recommend it. Would like to see a larger size and a thin sole that would make it more conducive to using it as a slip on shoe as opposed to a sock.

Fit is tight to get into the socks, once on- they keep feet warm and offer some protection from elements.
