I purchased this mirror because I needed one to increase my visual field while biking. I think this might work better on other bikes, ie. those with straight handlebars; my bike has a grip on the end and the grip interfers with the attachement of the mirror. The mirror stays attached and does not change position very much, so it is good in that regard. I am keeping it, rather than returning it, because it does afford some rear view, but it is not optimal.

It's a decent mirror, shows you what's behind etc. The wire inside could be stiffer to hold mirror in place over typical road biking. and the plastic that wraps around your handlebar is slick--a rubberized inside would help. Also, for cruiser bike, the range of twisting could be better. But it does the job and doesn't break.

This is a great innovation for bike mirrors. I tried several - either cheap and break, on helmets (TERRIBLE option), require cutting end of handle, or do not work. This is great - works for my ergonomic handle, firm on bike yet easily re-positioned, good viewing (could be bigger), Seems like it took a long time to develop one that works. GO FOR IT!

I liked the design of the mirror and how it mounted to my handlebar grip. However, it constantly wobbled loose on bike trails and was extremely difficult to keep adjusted. At one point, it fell off and I didn't even mourned the loss.

I do like this mirror, because it works well most of the time. It does tend to wobble out of alignment, so that when you need to check for cars behind you, it's not where it might have been 15 minutes earlier and needs adjusting. I also live in an area with horrible roads that are really bumpy, so it's not all the fault of the mirror. I did have it fall off going through a field and never noticed it until returning home via the same route---and found it on the ground. That was disappointing. I hope that doesn't happen again.

This has a flexible adjustor on its stem which is too loose, so it goes out of adjustment immediately even on smooth pavement. It also vibrates even on smooth pavement. Combined with the small size of the mirror, and the fact that objects are distorted (they are closer than they appear), you can hardly see anything even just after you adjust it. Very disappointing. Seems like a good brand name I guess, but this is definitely a poor quality product. LLBean should stop selling these.

This mirror has a good field of view and under normal circumstances works very well. Part of my ride each day is on a boardwalk and the mirror goes out of position. I wish there were a way of tightening up on the mirror after it is adjusted. I've tried a helmet mirror and I don't care for it since I have to move my head to use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BigGramps Useful Mirrows
I originally bought 1 for my MTB. Then , my wife & I bought 2 recumbant trikes. I couldn't find the mirrows I wanted where we bought the trikes so I ordered three more. I Moved the one off the MTB and with the new three added them to the trikes. They attach easily to handle grips and position and adjust as needed. They give great rear vision. Also as noted they are portable.

Easily attached to the handles of my LLBean Acadia Cruiser. Easily adjustable and the mirrors don't shake while riding. Mirror is a good size for seeing things behind you, not too small. Got one for each handle. I will be ordering more as gifts and for my family.
