Used for a Boy Scout camping trip in Jan. Husband has a decent sleeping bag but needed to add some warmth since temps were going to go below freezing at night. He said he loved it and it definitely did its job!

The liner does not seem like much, but I used it this past fall in the ADK and found that it did keep me warmer. At times I did have my arms outside the liner, but in the sleeping bag and noticed a difference in temperature when I pulled them back into the liner.

This liner makes a synthetic sleeping bag much more comfortable and keeps the chill away.

Used this liner during our Philomont NM trek. Used as a sheet when warm and in the bag when cold. Lighter\smaller than extra sleeping clothes. Can't wait to try in cold northeast camping in fall. Very nice!

I've been using this sleeping bag liner for almost 3 years and find that it's an excellent way to extend the comfort range of my summer sleeping bag when it starts to get into colder temperatures. The liner does seem to add at least 10-12 degrees of warmth, letting me use my 32F degree bag down into the mid to low 20F degree range, with lightweight merino wool long johns for sleep clothes. It's so lightweight and packs so small that I'll often bring it with me on multi-day backpack trips as a "just in case" item for unforseen cold weather. The material has held up very well and shows no sign of wear and tear over the years. It's very soft and comfortable and feels much nicer against my skin than the nylon lining of my sleeping bag. The liner is mummy shaped and fits very well inside my mummy shaped sleeping bag, but I don't feel constricted. Granted, I am only 5' 6" and weigh approx. 145 lbs, so someone much larger than me may not feel the same. I have also used it in place of a sleeping bag on very warm and humid summer nights when I just need a light cover. I would definitely recommend this item, since it is much less expensive and lighter than buying another sleeping bag for colder weather.

I really never gave this a real chance but upon opening the package, I was unpleasantly surprised how thin the material was & doubted this would give me the extra 15 degrees of comfort that it purports to do. I was also concerned about how this liner would get "twisted" while trying to sleep in my sleeping bag.
So I decide to return it & as usual, Bean was great at accepting the return. I then found a warmer sleeping bag to buy at Beans to replace my old worn out one, which I did for only $10 more than the cost of this liner.
If these sold for half the present price, I might recommend this, but as such I would recommend saving your money & buying a new sleeping bag.
