This is a great set of sheets. They feel wonderful, fit the bed well, and lovely to see. They are well made too. This is my second set to own. Thanks for a lovely set of sheets. Very affordable too.

Seem to be very good quality. The crocheted trim is beautiful. I am looking forward to receiving the back ordered matching bed skirt to complete the heirloom look.

I bought these to replace the exact same sheets I bought several years ago. They are not the same. I wish I could go back to using the old ones but they are worn out. I don't mind the "crispy" feel to them but the old ones started out much softer. When I take them out of the dryer immediately, they are so wrinkled that I can't get them reasonably smooth by ironing. If you wear cotton bedclothes you will not be able to turn over easily because you will "stick" to the sheets. For the money I paid, these are not worth the grief that they cause. L.L. Bean goofed on this version.

Rated 5 out of 5 by trukdriver Lovely Sheets
This is the first time I ordered sheets from LLBean and not only did they launder perfectly, but the crochet on the cases and the top sheet add a touch of elegance.
When I needed a new sheet set I remembered that 'Good Houskeeping' rated LL Bean sheets #1. Now that I've tried them I'll be back for more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ChicagoDebby Ahhh! Percale
I've been searching everywhere for old-fashioned cotton percale - 200 thread count. Yes, that's right - my experience with the higher thread count so-called luxury sheets has been less than wonderful. These sheets are deep enough to fit my extra deep mattress, and even after washing were a perfect fit. They are cool on the skin, very soft and exactly what I wanted. I couldn't be happier - just a little wrinkly out of the dryer - that's why 4 stars and not 5.

Rated 1 out of 5 by leptopsylla Thin, shrinkage ruins lace and cat fuzz sticks
I have never owned such unpleasant sheets. I bought a set six years ago, and they are much nicer. These, in "ivory" are actually too yellow, they shrank after first wash so that lace is now a sort of solid medallion and looks synthetic and ugly. The fabric is very thin. I would have put up with this, but then I noticed the sheets hang on to my cat's fur. None of my other LLBean bedding does this. I can brush off loose hairs easily. This makes little fuzzy pills of cat. Definitely not the quality LLBean was known for. And when I noticed the price I paid...well! That is not a budget price, but these are definitely low budget quality.

The sheets are so pretty I'm going to keep them. I didn't realize they weren't the 280 percale you are so noted for, maybe I'll just order a 280 percale for the bottom (if it comes in natural).

Rated 2 out of 5 by NoorYes not for folks who actually make their beds
I purchased these early in December 2012. They have been used, washed and used again, about six times. I hate them. I wanted percale. I want a nice semi-starched feel to my sheets. I want sheets that you can bounce a coin on when the bed it made. Is that too old-fashioned? I could tolerate the pillowcases with the crochet trim on only one side (so every day only that side can 'face front' on the bed). I could ignore the color (wanted a pretty color and not white for a change) even though it is yellow-ish. I want sheets that are smooth and don't scratch me because I have very sensitive skin. BUT I do not like these sheets. It takes me twice as long to make the bed and truthfully, for this thread count, they weren't soft till they had been washed a couple of times. Not scratchy, just not smooth. Is this too much to ask? I'm afraid to order any of your sheets now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bailey10 beautiful, durable, well fitting
I bought these sheets 2 years ago and they continue to look as new as the day I first put them on my bed. Truly wrinkle resistant with virtually no or little shrinkage. If you're real fussy you may take an iron to the folds above the crochet but other than that they wash extremely well. I have only used the one set so it has been washed & put back on the bed repeatedly over the 2 years. There is absolutely no signs of wear or "pilling" of the material. Truly a superior product and is of L.L. Bean standard.
