If this was my first Mission piece from LLBean I would be more disappointed. However, I also have the end table, two shelf end table, storage console, and a corner entertainment console that is no longer offered. With all of these, I have not considered them a great value, but they are what I was looking for and well made.
So, I ordered the corner desk expecting the same. Finish is good as the others, but I had to re-drill the holes for the cam screws to go in. I broke the head off of one trying to screw it into the existing holes. I got it put together with the extra effort and it fits my needs, but there may be better options out there.

This item shipped quickly (2-3 days) and was easy to assemble. It is perfect for the corner niche and is used for sewing and computer work.

I so wanted to like this desk. I carefully read all the rave reviews. I looked at similar desks that are sold elsewhere for much less and decided to spend the money and buy the good one. I was so excited when it came earlier than predicted. I couldn't wait to put it together! Maybe I did something wrong? It's not very sturdy at all. I also wasn't happy with the color -- I ordered the darker one and it looks to be a rich brown on the site but it's rather dull and there's no shine. I don't think it looks like an expensive desk at all and that's only confirmed once you touch it and it doesn't feel solid or sturdy. I wish I'd ordered one of the many corner desks I see around the internet for a third of the price. I might not have been thrilled with that either, but at least I'd have more money in my bank account. I really wish I was as happy as all the other reviewers!

My husband and I made a spare bedroom a workout room and needed a tv stand. We didn't want the usual entertainment center that would take up a whole wall so we opted for this corner desk. It looks great! Also, the service was excellent. LL Bean has come through again. Thank you!

Very well made, with COMPLETE easy to follow instructions and complete hardware kit (which is pretty rare, oftentimes there's something missing) The desk shipped very quickly, and I received it within a week of ordering it. The top of the desk is bigger than I expected it to be, so the monitor, keyboard, and speakers fit, with room left over, and the desk fits perfectly into the small home office space that I have. I may go back for the small bookshelf that matches for my printer (I dont think I would like it on the shelf underneath) and that would make a small L-shaped desk and not overwhelm my tiny room. Overall a very good value!!

The packaging although slightly damaged protected the contents. The desk was assembled easily in about 45 mins. The wood and finish is of good quality, but with a slight misalignment of one of the pre-drilled screw holes. My only complaint is that the intial order stated a week to 10 days delivery and it actually took six weeks from the date of the order.

This desk exceeded all my expectations. It is high quality easy to assemble & exactly as described. I have a relatively large printer which the lower right hand shelf easily accommodates. Delivery was within just a few days. Highly recommend this item.

Put together my Mission Corner Desk in about 20 easy minutes. Fit and finish are excellent. Utility is outstanding. No issues whatsoever.

Beautifully crafted and made in the USA!! Purchased as a gift for my husband and he loves it!! He was very impressed with the quality of the materials and the ease of assembling.
