These snow shoes are the real thing. The little ones can get right in them and start snow shoeing right away. They even work well going up and down little hills. One thing I find that isn't clear in the the product description is that these snow shoes are adjustable. They have 4 different settings so that they grow with the child's foot. My 3-year old uses them in the smallest setting and my 5-year old in the second setting meaning he still has two larger sizes before he has to change snow shoes. These snow shoes are well worth the investment.

My 3 year old granddaughter loves to be outdoors in the winter. Now she can showshoe with mama and papa instead of being pulled in a sled, or carried through the snow. She was so happy to receive this gift.

by CyclinMama The perfect kid snowshoes
These are just the perfect kid snowshoes - easy to put on, stay on well, and all at a great price. My 9-year-old can put them on and cinch them up tight all on his own, which is great.
I love going on family winter hikes now that all of our kids have LL Bean snowshoes!

Rated 1 out of 5 by dirttracker350 they fell apart and the plastic broke
I live in N.H. with some big Snow, And own a pair of Yukon Charlie's.
And for fun, My Mother sent a pair of LL bean 16" Winter walkers
to My little girl for Christmas.
After the second use the plastic webbing broke and I had to carry her from the woods we were exploring, I would like to know how
to get an exchange of product,( or repair ) I usuely do not purchase Items from your catlogue, or store, and will not in the future, unless
The issue with the Snow Shoes can be resolved

I got these for my son two years ago. He is five now. They work like the real thing and stay on his feet just fine. We have gone on hour+ long adventures in them. I would recommend them to any family who likes to get out in the snow!

Rated 1 out of 5 by llamatoy Plastic crumbled after a year
The plastic straps that attach to the outside frame, as well as the grey plastic that goes over the front of the boot all became brittle and crumbled after 13 months. Used them one time last year, and now can't use them this year.

Our little snowshoes just arrive in the mail. They are so cute and appear to hold a boot securely. We were worried they would be too long for our 3-year-old, but they are just right. The best feature of all is the ADJUSTABLE BINDING! This is great because now they will fit for a few years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by WinterWndrlnd Pleasantly surprised
As my son opened the gift, I was sure they were too small. I had purchased the correct size (according to the chart online) and could barely fit his brand new LL Bean boots into them. But as soon as they were put to use, they fit & worked beautifully! My only wish is that the strap on the front were longer.

I gave these to my 4 year old grandson for his birthday. My daughter tells me that he was able to use them with a minimum of help right away and that he is having a blast. Definitely worth the purchase

These were a gift for my 27 lb 2.5 year old. We got about a foot of snow last night and gave them a try this morning. They fit well, were easily adjustable, and stayed on the whole time over regular toddler snow boots (size 9). They were very intuitive for him. He fell a few times while he learned not to step on the edges of the other shoe, but after that he did well while following in dad's footsteps. After a period of time he wanted them off, but when he tried walking without them, he immediately asked to have them put back on.
We did notice that after pulling our baby around the yard in his sled, the sled trail made an excellent "groomed path" for learning. My son was able to walk on this path with no trouble and had the hang of the snowshoes almost immediately. He's a little tentative in the unbroken snow, but he's only 2. We did not give him poles yet as I don't think he is coordinated enough yet
