Rated 4 out of 5�by TomJV Tico Tool Sorry! I haven't actually used the tool yet(hence, the 4 stars). I'll say that I bought this tool because I couldn't find it anywhere else. The price was OK and it arrived as promised. I used to have a couple of these and always liked them. Naturally, you have to clean your shotgun the old fashioned way, but this is a quick and easy way to get it 80% clean after a shoot. My dad likes the bore snake, but I think it's a "pain in the neck" to use. January 4, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5�by THatch Best Camp Cleaning Tool EVER ! ! I just found my broken tico tool after my wife dropped a baby seat on it. I've had it for 15 years. It has been used weekly during hunting season every year since I bought it new. Mine has had oil and BreakFree sprayed on it hundreds of times and all it takes to clean it is a little BreakFree and a couple of paper towels, or one shop rag. Spray it down and give it a few strokes with the towel and it's ready for storage in the sleeve. If it gets broken during shipping, it's the courier's fault, not cheap manufacturing. The tool was designed to go down the barrel of a shotgun, and that is exactly what it does, and very well, I might add. I am getting another one from LL Bean in 20ga and 12ga, and I hope they lasts at least half as long as the original one did. I have no reason to believe that they won't. Excellent cleaning tool ! ! ! Rated 4 out of 5�by trapshot performace expectations I purchased the Tico tool in June and use it 1-2 times per week. It is performing well and seems to be holding up fine. The oiling attachment is quick and effective. My opinion is this tool saves a considerable amount of time and gives good coverage. After use a quick wipe with a paper towel or cloth seems to keep it clean. The shipping/storage tube is durable. October 31, 2011

Rated 5 out of 5�by jimmyjames8800 for a quick clean after shooting Tico tubes have been around a long time and if you go to a big trap or skeet club, they are standard issue. All serious shotgunners use the Tico tube to quickly clean powder residue out of their barrels. When they get dirty black from use. Time to get a new one. Wouldn't be without it. December 14, 2009

The first item I ordered arrived damaged in shipment primarily in my judgement because the item is so flimsy. I do not expect the item to hold up at all in use. I also believe it will be incredibly difficult to clean. The instructions indicate the product will not hold up when used with powder solvents often used for bore cleaning. What's the point if you can't use the right products with this tool. I wish I didn't have it and would not recommend it to anyone. June 17, 2008
