I bought this nightgown and the matching men's pajamas for Christmas 2014 gifts. We all wore them again when we gathered for Christmas 2015. Family members from Michigan and California alike shared that we had all wore our LL Bean nightgowns and pajamas a lot in the year between the holidays. There is no sign of wear. In fact, all of the sleepwear got softer and better with age. Highly recommend, outstanding product!

Love this nightgown but, the sleeves are too short. The length is perfect...about 3"-4" inches above the ankle. I'm 5'6". I've worn and washed it many times and the color is still vibrant and there is no wear or pilling....still super soft. Please lengthen the arms an inch or two. It's still worth 5 stars, it's a great flannel nightgown and I'll probably buy one again.

This has been a family favorite for decades. Unfortunately the sleeves had been getting shorter in the past couple of years but good news - they're much better (longer) this time. I've already washed it and there was no appreciable shrinking. I do wish there was a pocket.

This gown is a delight to wear. I usually wear more feminine styles, but I have despaired at the poor quality of other brands. I am hoping these wear as well as the LL Bean Robes I have. By the way, my gown has not shrunk at all. It comes out of the dryer unwrinkled too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by skringlen Love it! Very comfy.
This nightgown is a great fit, is very warm, and comfortable. I got the XL after debating on size between this and L. It is a bit big around the middle, but fits shoulders, chest, and arms perfectly. Being a comfortable nightgown, it should probably be loose and I'm glad I didn't risk it being too small. I wear a size 12 or 14 usually. Reading the other reviews, I would have to agree the the fabric isn't really a warm, fuzzy, thick flannel, but more like a thick cotton. I really like it anyway.

I liked this nightgown so much I had to order a second one. The quality of the garment and sizing are perfect! Just in time for winter!

I bought this lovely nightgown for both my daughter and myself. The fabric is pretty, soft and warm. My only complaint with it is that the length shrinks after a wash and dry by a few inches, and the sleeve length shrinks as well. Ironically, the width of the garment (where I could more easily accommodate shrinkage than the length and sleeves) does not shrink. I recommend that after purchasing the fabric and before making the garments, Llbean have the fabric washed and hot air dryed, so that the shrinkage occurs BEFORE rather than AFTER the garment is constructed. Yes, this does mean a little more fabric will be needed to make the nightgown, but Llbean should be able to accommodate that with the substantial price for the nightgown. Very nice but could be better with no shrinkage.

Bought two of these last year and wished I could love them. Great soft warm fabric! The sleeves are too short & cuff is too tight and as time went on got even shorter. I can leave them unbuttoned but don't like the sloppy feel of the sleeves up at my elbows.

Rated 5 out of 5 Soft, Warm and comfy!!!!
I love this flannel nightgown. My sister told me about them so I ordered 1 then 1 more and now I am on the 3rd one. I use them all winter long. I ordered a 1X so I can pull my legs up and stay warm while watching TV or reading a book. As long as they offer them I will keep wearing them. Thank you so much LL Bean

First of all...I think of this "NIGHTGOWN" as my favorite cool weather BATHROBE. For me, personally, I'd get tangled up in the generous, full-cut flannel if I tried to sleep in it.
I've used LL Bean flannel BATHROBES for many, many years...I call this style the "Granny Gown", and I've worn them as a bathrobe till the material finally gets so thin I have to bid them a reluctant goodbye. They last for years.
This particular "nightgown" is beautifully styled, full cut, and long enough that the hem hits the top of my slippers. I like it so much, I've bought 2 more to tuck away, because I fear anything this perfect will surely be discontinued. the fabric is thinner than the heavy weight flannel of earlier bathrobes, but is definitely suitable for service as a bathrobe for cool mornings and evenings.
