Rated 5 out of 5 by Contralto1959 Great shirt
This is just a great shirt. I recently bought two for my husband. The fabric and construction are excellent, and they are amazingly wrinkle-resistant.
He also has three which I bought seven years ago. He wears the shirts frequently, and is very hard on them - pulls them off over his head, falls asleep on the couch in them, etc. - and they are still in good shape.
Just an excellent value overall.

Material and fit are both first class. I cannot see myself buying anything else in dress shirts.

Don't know why Bean has stopped having these in tall sizes. Love the shirt but need tall sizes

Excellent fit; I have a slim build 5-11 165 lbs and the 15 1/2 - 35 fit perfectly. The material is heavier and feels better than other brands. For the price this is a very good garment. I bought two and intend to buy at least two more. The 2 blue shirts I bought (two different shades of blue) are very nice. The option for a slightly darker blue would be nice but not available.

Hubby and I agree, ...this has to be one of the nicest dress shirts EVER, and it's always ready to wear! Absolutely no need for a trip to the dry cleaners any longer. Thank you, L.L. Bean!

Love these shirts for office. Last forever. Wash them yourself. No ironing is A-OK. What happens with me is I throw out the junk in my closet. All that is left are the Bean clothes.

I've depended on these shirts for more than 20 years. In other lines (even at fancy department stores), it's hard to find a full selection of both neck sizes and sleeve lengths. I wear a 16 by 33. "Medium" shirts have sleeves that are too short and "large" are too long.
Clean, traditional style. Comfortable.
These shirts last and last. Very durable fabric. Even after the cuffs get frayed, I roll them up a couple turns and keep wearing them. The colors look new after dozens of washing.
The buttons stay on for years (have never had one fall off). They do indeed come out of the dryer ready to wear with a suit, even after many washings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ChrisAndMilena As far as shirts go, this one is a home run!
Being a middle age guy I had a lot of shirts in my life and I have to say this is one of the best, if not the best, I ever owned! Awesome fit, nice an thick but not stiff or hot. Best of all I don't have to hear my wife complain it's not ironed. :-)

I am happy that LLBean has the sense to understand that a 15.5 inch neck size and a 36 inch sleeve means that the person wearing that is tall and skinny. I am thrilled with all of these shirts! They do not look, they are not made for someone to hide a basketball under the front of the shirt!
They wash and dry so well and still look like they were ironed by a professional.
