I have several of the short-sleeved shirts in various colors and love them. These truly are wrinkle-resistant. Not only do they come out of the drier ready to wear, but they tend to drop wrinkles after use of seat belts as the shirt interacts with my body. These look particularly good for casual wear.

I buy short sleeves to wear when hot, and the material of these shirts is way too heavy to be practical.
It's a quality shirt, good cut, etc., just too heavy to wear on hot days.

This is, by far, one of my husband's favorite summer shirts!. It's a durable, crisp, "go to" shirt, and the wrinkle-resistant classic oxford cloth insures its appropriateness for ANY occasion! Hubby has worn it as a dress shirt, with slacks and blazer, and also with his favorite (L. L. Bean) cargo shorts. It's truly that versatile! He prefers the vertical stripe, and owns 3 of them. The first one was purchased years ago, and the most recent, within the year. Thank you, L. L. Bean, and please do NOT discontinue this great product.

Fit is spot on and is well made.
I ordered a Burnt Orange color and what I received was clearly a PINK shirt.
I've returned one of these before (in pink) and there was no difference between burnt orange and pink. Maybe Bean had extra Pink shirts and re packaged them as burnt orange ?
I shouldn't have to pay for return shipping. I would have never ordered it if I knew that it was pink.

I love the quality of the Bean Oxford shirts. First, at 5ft 9in, I found the regular fit shirt to be just a little too short. With only 7 buttons and none below the belt, it untucked too easily. Now I order the tall. Second, color names and descriptions are a bad match to the actual color. The french blue is just like the common light blue found at other retailers. I expected a darker blue. The burnt orange may have a hint of orange but it really is more pink than orange. While I haven't ordered all colors, I would guess that the light blue and french blue are very similar as are the burnt orange compared to the pink.

I have bought these shirts for my husband. After about 10 washing they absolutely fall apart in the washing machine. It seems the fabric comes apart at the buttons. The shirts are not really worth the money if they don't hold up in the machine. Very disappointed.this happened to 4 shirts.

I washed the shirt for the first time and the nice yellow shirt turned blue from the Clorox2 (blue). I repeatedly re-washed in a bucket with Clorox2 and Shout, and the bluing still didn't come out. No other clothes in the same wash had caused any bluing nor to the other clothes. It looked like I poured the Clorox2 into the wash and the shirt reacted blue afterwards. No other shirt I have owned has ever reacted this way. The shirt makers need to make their clothes COLORFAST. LLBean should drop this line of shirts - poor quality.

Fabric stays stiff as cardboard, even after multiple washes to try to soften it up.

After wearing the shirt twice and washing it after every use the ring around the collar would not go away. Will return it. Hopefully the more expensive 100% poplin will clean up better. First time I have had a problem with LLBean quality.
Thank you. Dr. DeVeau

Short sleeve Oxford shirts are hard to find in different colors. For the price paid, I was expecting a top-notch shirt. The material is good quality and it fits well. I am of average height and found that the buttons, only seven, go down to just above the belt line. One more button below the belt would be a great addition and would keep the shirt tucked in well throughout the day. I have no need to buy the Tall style shirt.
