Rated 5 out of 5 by Osmunda Perfect shirt!
LLBean's pinpoint oxford button-front shirts are the best on the market. They always look crisp and polished, don't wear out, and come from the dryer ready to wear. I have been buying them for years and all of them still look wonderful and wear beautifully.

Rated 3 out of 5 by PetiteShopper100 Shirt Runs Big
I usually wear petite-small tops and will occasionally fit petite-medium, depending on the cut of the shirt. I ordered a p-small and found it to be very big. It was quite billowy around the waist and the sleeves were 2.5-3 inches too long - the cuff ended midway down my fingers. It fit like a "regular" cut, not a petite cut. The shirt is high quality and I hope the x-small will be a better fit.
I would recommend to a friend but have them consider the next size smaller.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SouthernHeat Short Sleeves Please
I love the LL Bean button down shirts, but summers in the south are hot and humid. I can't believe there are 60 long or 3/4 sleeve button down shirts and only 9 short sleeve or sleeveless button down shirts available online. Please make the pinpoint oxford shirts in short sleeves and in solids and prints. These would be perfect for work if they were short sleeved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BeachLoverinDelaware Fabulous Shirt
I have worn these shirts in various colors and patterns for years. My closet is filled with LL Bean clothes but these are the workhorses of my wardrobe. Some of them are duplicated because I love the particular color and am afraid it might be discontinued. As an avid traveler, these shirts have been around the world and served me very well. They pack well, resist wrinkles and require no ironing. One suggestion I would offer would be having two buttons on the cuff. I always need to move the button to make the sleeves a better fit. Please keep up the good work and please continue to offer these!

Rated 2 out of 5 by zanthine baggy & shapeless
I love the pinpoint oxford fabric, and the shirt seems to be very well made, but it was horribly unflattering on me. I'm tall, curvy, and plus sized. I have a couple variations of this top in the 3/4 sleeve, slightly fitted version and love them. But I needed a long sleeve and as the "slightly fitted" isn't available in my size tried this one. It's OK unbuttoned and layered over a tank, but buttoned up it's just shapeless and horribly unflattering. It makes me look 20 lbs heavier. I also tried the slightly fitted version XL; it fits well through the waist but no chance of buttoning up the top!
Please, please make this top in plus sizes and slightly fitted cut. Just like the 3/4 sleeves but long sleeves! I'd buy them in every color!

Rated 5 out of 5 by teacherquinn Wonderful shirt
I love the feel of these shirts. I have the navy and the coral and they are perfect for wearing over a tee or tank. I prefer to wear it unbuttoned, with the sleeves rolled up. Perfect with jeans or a pair of slacks. I wash them in cold and dry just a bit and then hang them up. No ironing needed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by mintcandycane Way too long
I so wanted to keep this shirt but it was way too long. It covered my posterior and I am 5 ft. 5 in. tall. It fit more like a tunic. I miss the perfect fit that LL Bean use to have. My older shirts were perfect....these newer ones not so much. I would recommend it to a lady who was 6 foot tall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by historian Love these shirts!
I probably have a dozen or so of these shirts that I've purchased over a number of years. (I once had someone ask me, "How many colors do you have that same shirt in?") I love the classic styling and the nice fabric, and the fact that you can skip ironing, if you wish. Small fits me best (5'5", 137 lbs, average build), though I have some mediums that I still wear from when I weighed some 25 lbs more, five years ago. They last after many washings and look great. I was disappointed that it appears that my favorite color, French Blue, has been discontinued. (I have three shirts in French Blue; one in size small and two in medium.) I hope that color makes it back into the rotation at some point. (I also have one of these shirts that is medium but fitted; it was too tight around my belly when I weighed more than I do now, but now it fits well.) They are well worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by IrritableOwl Great shirts! More colors and patterns, please
It has become increasingly difficult to find attractive high quality shirts for women that don't have darts. I HATE DARTS. Some of us prefer a more relaxed fit, and these are very nice shirts for the money. In my experience they wear and launder well. I like to iron them for a crisp finish, even though they are treated to be wrinkle-resistant.
My only complaints:
1. The resin added to the fabric in order to render it wrinkle-free makes the shirts less comfortable. They are not breathable in hot weather as untreated/'must iron' cotton shirts are. Please consider offering this same shirt in an untreated cotton, even if it requires ironing.
2. I would love to see more colors and a greater variety of prints, especially stripes. Some Liberty-style florals would be great. Please bring back the pale turquoise and the pale pink too!

Rated 1 out of 5 by ColdFeetHater Not Wrinkle-Free. Shirts Require Light Ironing
I bought four shirts that were advertised as wrinkle-free. They arrived creased to a degree I could not wear them, so I laundered them. I had to iron every shirt before I could wear them even with jeans. After wearing the shirts, I washed them then sent them to the dry cleaners to be ironed because I didn't want to bother ironing them myself. Another problem with the shirts is the collar points without buttons require ironing in order to lay flat. So now each time I wear a shirt I wash it, then send it to the dry cleaners for pressing. This certainly increases the overall cost of having bought these shirts. It would have made more sense for me to have purchased fewer, but considerably more expensive, yet truly wrinkle-free shirts from another company. I am a big fan of LL Bean, and my closet is stuffed with their clothes. But this purchase was a mistake. I am surprised and disappointed in their buyer. I'm having difficulty understanding how that person can't see the shirts require some level of pressing, and allows a label to be attached inside the collar stating the shirt is wrinkle-free, when clearly it is not.
