Rated 5 out of 5 by Osmunda Perfect shirt!
LLBean's pinpoint oxford button-front shirts are the best on the market. They always look crisp and polished, don't wear out, and come from the dryer ready to wear. I have been buying them for years and all of them still look wonderful and wear beautifully.

LL Bean is one of a very few manufacturers whose quality has remained consistently high. I have several of these wrinkle-free shirts but the others are solid colors; I love this pretty blue floral print. The shirt is exceptionally well made and comes out of the dryer looking freshly ironed.

I have this line in every color HOW EVER LLBean has changed vendors!
Before they changed vendors the material was soft and comfortable. NOT SO NOW! The material is stiff and scratchy. Due to the rough material I have found much friction against other materials (jeans/skirts etc.).>>>LLBean please switch vendors or use better quality materials.

I was so excited about getting this to put under my lacy magenta LLBean sweater. The print was just a depressing , unhappy feeling addition under a beautiful sweater. Back it went.

The shirt looks beautiful on the hanger, but feels scratchy and stiff when worn, despite being washed several times in the effort to soften the fabric.

Rated 3 out of 5 by BQ52 Not the right fit for me
I loved the 3/4 length sleeve style of this shirt, so I tried this with the full length sleeves. But the sleeves are way too long (and I don't want to have to turn the cuffs up to wear it) and the shoulders were too big. Also, the back of the shirt was overly big and "blousy", even without tucking it in. This just wasn't a flattering fit for me.

I have purchased LL Bean's long sleeve button down shirts for years. Unfortunately, the new no-iron fabrics are very uncomfortable. They do not breathe and feel very hot on the body after you've had them on for a time. Also, the petite proportions of this shirt are odd. The sleeves are much too long and the cuffs are too wide. The shoulders are slightly off as well and the shirt pulls at the chest.
It would be nice if L.L. Bean brought back regular all cotton fabrics that breathe and were not treated with this awful no-iron chemical that makes them stiff, hot and uncomfortable. I don't mind ironing my shirts as long as they are good-looking and comfortable!

Rated 3 out of 5 by PetiteShopper100 Shirt Runs Big
I usually wear petite-small tops and will occasionally fit petite-medium, depending on the cut of the shirt. I ordered a p-small and found it to be very big. It was quite billowy around the waist and the sleeves were 2.5-3 inches too long - the cuff ended midway down my fingers. It fit like a "regular" cut, not a petite cut. The shirt is high quality and I hope the x-small will be a better fit.
I would recommend to a friend but have them consider the next size smaller.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SouthernHeat Short Sleeves Please
I love the LL Bean button down shirts, but summers in the south are hot and humid. I can't believe there are 60 long or 3/4 sleeve button down shirts and only 9 short sleeve or sleeveless button down shirts available online. Please make the pinpoint oxford shirts in short sleeves and in solids and prints. These would be perfect for work if they were short sleeved.

I have worn these shirts in various colors and patterns for years. My closet is filled with LL Bean clothes but these are the workhorses of my wardrobe. Some of them are duplicated because I love the particular color and am afraid it might be discontinued. As an avid traveler, these shirts have been around the world and served me very well. They pack well, resist wrinkles and require no ironing. One suggestion I would offer would be having two buttons on the cuff. I always need to move the button to make the sleeves a better fit. Please keep up the good work and please continue to offer these!
