This is my second purchase. That's how happy we are with these jeans. Can't keep warm in your other jeans? Then give it a try. You will be glad you did.
Really worth the investment.

I work as a volunteer at a local hospital and the dress code states we "...cannot wear blue jeans...brown pants are preferred...."
So, I purchased these in the flannel-lined version, and wore them when the weather took a dive below freezing a couple of weeks ago.
They kept me warm the whole time - four hours, 8am to 12 noon. They would probably be too warm for a summer day here, but they were not purchased as a summer pair of slacks... I will purchase the non-lined slacks if I need another pair. They fit perfectly 38W 29L, and are a very comfortable wearing pant.
I purchased the "comfort fit" (elastic) waistband model.

The flannel lined jeans have a comfortable fit, and are cozy warm (especially in the winter season). The waist and inseam are true to size. They wash well and maintain a great shape. All of our family wear them and we recommend trying them yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Francoise42 KEEPING TOASTY IN THE COLD
flannel lined jeans are perfect for me in the sub-freezing temps; I personally find all "long-johns" and/or "leggings" for underneath too bulky and ill fitting; these lined jeans wash without shrinkage, and not much in wrinkling either...our whole family has been converted to
them, and we're the happier, and warmer, for it

Rated 5 out of 5 by denny2319 I keep on buying them ....
As I get older and it gets cold, I wear lined jeans more and more often in winter. This past week, it has been 2, 3, 2 and, today, 6 degrees in the morning. The jeans provide warmth for quick trips outside, yet are not so bulky that they are a problem beneath my hunting bibs when I run our snowblower. They wear well, too.

One thing about purchasing pants. ALWAYS measure the inseam yourself. I at first did not do that. The 10 year old pants I wanted to replace were marked on the tag as 32 and were actually 30 1/2 inseam. So, I ordered 32 and they were a true 32 inseam and flopped on the floor. I returned them and ordered 30 and they are perfect.

Lurp Core Item
I have been wearing Bean's lined jeans with comfort waist for more years than I can remember. These jeans are comfortable and durable. I own the flannel-lined and the fleece-lined, both are exceptional. I recommend them highly to anyone who does seasonal work or activity, they really help keep you warm in cold/wet conditions. The comfort waist is still done the right way, with the built-in elastic at the waist; not like the stoopid pull straps Bean went to that ruined the regular Bean comfort waist jeans.

The jeans are excellent, especially for where we live and walking the dog in the early evenings after work, when it is getting colder by the minute. Thanks for the great fit and quality also. The price was fair too.

I bought these jeans a little longer to roll them up some; and too, just in case the jeans may shrink after washing; however, washed several times now with no shrinking. The real thing I like is when I wear western boots with a high heel these jeans look great w/o rolling them up--it looks nice with western boots with the longer length.
