I have a pine and cream window pane wool from llbean and now I just ordered the plaid acorn. they both are gorgeous patterns and impossible to find anywhere! the selection is slim, but the timing has been perfect when I've been in the market for one. I ordered the full size to save money and it is plenty large enough for my new queen pillow top mattress (I just don't tuck it in).

I have always wanted a wool blanket and finally decided to buy Bean's washable wool blanket. I was unsure when I first washed it because it smelled weird. I let it line dry over night and when it was totally dry the smell was gone. Love my new blanket

Rated 5 out of 5áby BaileyBeans Beautiful Washable Wool Plaid Blanket!
I bought this wool blanket for our king sized bed. I love the idea of being able to throw it in the wash without it coming out the size of a twin blanket. Blue neutral is the color I chose and I love it. I would definitely buy more of these. Thanks LL Bean!

Rated 5 out of 5áby Hates2Shop Great weight and washable
This is the second washable wool plaid blanket that we bought - the colors are awesome, the weight is great for Northeast winters, and the blanket washes and dries nicely with no pilling or "boiled wool" smell. A wonderful choice for the main house, guest room, or camp.

Rated 5 out of 5áby coldinfreeville warm, soft and beautiful
This is a beautiful blanket - very soft but warm. Not a "prickly" wool - got immediate kitty approval from my cats. We look forward to staying warm this winter under it.

My wife ad I bought one of these blankets about two years ago and have washed it twice. The first time everything was fine, but this last time the white squares were puffy and larger than the other squares and the blanket looks kind of weird. Other than that it has been a great blanket. We live in northern California and with flannel sheets it's about all we need in the winter.

We use L.L. Bean's Ultrasoft Cotton Comforter year round, but found that it wasn't warm enough on cold winter nights here in the Mojave Desert. We wanted to add more warmth without a lot more weight. We chose the Foggy Blue washable wool blanket and are quite happy with our choice. When teamed with the cotton comforter and flannel sheets, it kept us very warm this past, particularly cold, winter. I have washed the blanket once at home in our front-loader, and it still looks great. When wet, it did, as expected, stink like wet wool, freaking out one of my coonhounds, but, here in the desert, it dried completely when I set it outside, and once dry, no longer smelled. The colors remain rich and warm. It's a great blanket. I highly recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5áby SALLBean Very good blanket
High quality, soft, pretty as I expected it to be. Perfect.
Just one thing was not good. The blanket was on back order from February, and I received it just now, in May.

Rated 1 out of 5áby Goldenretrievergirl Great blanket but doesn't wash well as instructed
This blanket was gorgeous and warm, and everything I dreamed of in a quality wool blanket when I first received it. Upon washing as per instructions (cold, delicate, etc.) the white squares are now bigger than the rest of this blanket and it puckers everywhere because of this. If this didn't happen it would be amazing. So disappointed as this product is definitely not as promised after cleaning. :(
