This is my second bag like this. On the positive side it has a lot of room inside and a zippered side compartment which has several smaller pockets within it. On each end there are elastic pockets for holding a water bottle or similar item. My big complaint is the edging wears through on the bottom and on the corners. There needs to be four metal/plastic protectors in each bottom corner for the times the bag is used alone, as a day bag, and is set down.

Style, durability, ease of access, functional compartments all very good. Size is inadequate. Please construct the Sportsman's accessory Bag a degree larger and it would serve a multitude of functions.

WaltB Good addition to Sportsmen Pullman
Nice addition. Smaller than a briefcase. Fits very nicely on top of pullman with handle up. Just right for an overnight bag, too. Slips right under plane seat with room for your feet. I like it.

I think the design will make it easier to get through the security check point and the size will fit nicely under the seat in front. The appearance is pleasing as well.

I made the mistake of ordering this bag instead of the less expensive options. I incorrectly assumed that it would be of higher quality. It is as flimsy as giveaway bag. It is completely soft, like a duffle bag, and has no support to stiffen the bottom / make it sit flat. It's crazy that LL Bean is charging what they do for it. If you want this kind of bag, do your wallet a favor and order the cheapest one they carry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RLGray Used as a camera bag
I have one of these that came as part of a travel lugage set and I was using it as a camera bag. I liked it so much (and still wanted it for travel not just as a camera bag) that I bought another to use just for my camera equipment (and save the other for travel purposes)!

I like this bag a lot. It has a slot inside where my 11" Macbook Air fits nicely in its little case, which is fabulous. Plenty of space for all I need en route. My only problem with it is that it gets heavy when I fill it up. So, I loved it when I carried it as an extra bag and could put it on top of my rolling bag. But it was a pain when I carried it alone.
This would be the perfect bag for me if it had little wheels and I could pull it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by IrisL I like it, but...
The bag is what I wanted and fits well under airplane seats, although I would like it to be a little bigger. I like that it slides over the handle of my larger rolling luggage pieces and I like the outside pockets for bottles.
I agree with the review by dawnhawk about the zippers. I think the small front zipper makes the little pockets inside unusable. I also wish it had more inside pockets or dividers.
I bought this to be a shoulder bag, but I HATE the strap that came with it. The padded part cannot be removed and is huge and stiff like bad 80s shoulder pads. I would have returned the bag if I hadn't had another strap from an old bag to use.
The single wrap for the two hand straps is annoyingly inconvenient to fasten and unsnap all the time, but it is not comfortable to carry unless you fasten the leather wrap.
I wavered about whether to say I would recommend to a friend. Ultimately, the fact that I hate both the shoulder strap and the hand strap wrap made me decide for no. Still, I kept the bag and I will use it.

Too small for an effective carry on and too large for a purse. Too much money to make this a consumer friendly purchase.

Had been looking at Baggalini's Dr. Bagg, this was 1/2 the price and in my opinion will do the job better.
