This is actually the second time I am ordering this bathroom mat. The first time I ordered this item back in 2005. I ordered it in the red and it has stood the test of time and still beautiful. I just re-did our bathroom and decided to order the oatmeal color. My only complaint is that the color does not really reflect the actual product. It is more light cream than oatmeal. But the quality is just fantastic and does not have that plastic smell you find in most store mats.

I love this color and the luxurious soft cotton. Feels great on my bare feet in the morning! LLBean is dependable with their products!

So different from my other bath mats! Long loops make for a
tactile pleasure on the feet. It was a back-ordered item, but well worth the wait!

SafetyChick Disappointed
I received this rug less than two weeks ago. First impressions were so good that I ordered two smaller mats that arrived today. In preparation of ordering the same large mat, I moved it to the area to check for size, only to discover the threads already pulled!!! I have multiple bath products from LL Bean and I am disappointed this one got damaged so fast. I would recommend this if it held its quality.
I may try another one, but not without a call to customer service...

Ii's a nice heavy rug but being a stickler for matching colors, when I received this rug after waiting a couple of weeks, it was on backorder, I was very disappointed that it did not match the towels I purchased.

I purchased a complete set, extra bath & face cloths, in the Antique Green which is a medium dark green as shown on the computer but when I finally received my rug it was a very light green almost a pistachio green.
The reviews reported a discrepancy in the Cranberry color but not in the Antique Green.
I called Customer Service for a quick exchange and the person gave me expedited delivery which is nice but I'm still disappointed that LLBean does not check that colors in related items, match.

Love the absorbency and the feel of this rug under your feet. Stays in place and is very pretty. The only downfall is that it is pretty difficult to vacuum. Jams up constantly no matter how low a suction setting you use on your vacuum cleaner. Have resorted to shaking it outside. Overall great product though.

I thought this rug was reversible, where you can flip it and use the other side, to get twice the wear out of it. It's not, but it's still a nice rug. The weave is coarse and a little long, but will soften and flatten with washing. I like the double sink proportions, like a runner, the pine green color is a good decorating green.
