Rated 4 out of 5áby NwoodsBarb Great for traction in the ice and snow
I was very pleased to have the Stabilicers. They were easy to attach to my running shoes and insured a slip-proof run when I used them. However, I started developing a blister on the bottom of my right foot, right on the pad beneath the big toe. I didn't cover it up for my next run and developed a big blister there. I have since bought blister bandaids and New Skin in hopes that this will take care of the issue. This is why I gave a four star review instead of a five.

Rated 5 out of 5áby BetterKarma Can't beat these for winter walking or running!
My wife and I have been using Stabilicers for years on our winter walking and running adventures.
We've logged hundreds of miles in our Stabilicers and other than having to replace the studs every few years they've held up great. The rubber is finally starting to get a little cracked so we thought that it would be a good idea to replace them.
The amount of traction they provide is amazing!
We've tried other brands and can say that the Stabilicers are the best we've found.

I work as a letter carrier for the USPS and use these stabilicers during the winter. I have tried many different types of "grippers" but these are by far my favorite. You can easily change the screws when they wear down, they are light weight, go on easily and come off easily. Great buy !!!

I'm here writing this review in one piece only because these ice cleats really worked and kept me upright negotiating a thick ice floe right out the front door where the sun never shines.

These are a great product that you can replace the ice studs on. I have used them about 5 times now and overall I have been impressed with what they have to offer. There are velcro straps that come with them and for a good reason too. The straps are most useful when you are in wet conditions because the rubber that stretches around your shoes tends to slide off. With the straps on the units stay tight to your footwear. I would recommend this product to anyone who walks or runs on slick surfaces or trails.

Rated 2 out of 5áby Icewalker147 Too narrow of a toe for any but a dress shoe
I purchased a woman's medium. It is designed for a dress shoe--narrow toe. Not what I wanted which was for a boot- type of shoe.

these were bought as a gift to replace another style. They are far superior to the less expensive ones as they fit snuggly over the toe of your shoe and I believe the studs can be replaced. That is the wear and tear of the product, the studs wear down.

These Stabilicers are great! Have to walk the dog and it can be pretty slippery outside. These "ice shoes" keep me from slipping and possible falling. I highly recommend them. I keep them on my Rubber Mocs all winter.

Rated 5 out of 5áby rexdollinger Required item for post surgery
Ordered the item for post spinal surgery for here in N. Wisconsin and have suggested that hospital add it to their list of suggested items to have on hand. Great design which has both steel studs and rubber tread on walking surface so you so not skate on hard ice or tile floors like spiral wire designs.
Be sure to buy large enough to fit over winter shoes or boots which are warm and comfortable and check that the heel piece is secured well before every walk, then sally forth and get the walking exercise we all need.
The safety these provide is well worth some additional cost.

Rated 5 out of 5áby USAheartlander Great US made product
I have 2 seasons experience with the stabilicers. They will stay on if proper size. Like support stockings, to be effective they must fit tightly and they require patient, firm tugging to get them in place. They provide a solid grip on on all snow and ice except for deep, exceedingly mushy slush. I wear them on my paper route (yeah at age 72) and while shoveling snow.
