It's different than placing your shoes in the drier or leaving them outside. It doesn't shrink your boots or shoes. This product is the best money ever spent. If I ever have an issue with it, I know LLBean would take care of it - It's what makes this product even better! If you are debating, buy it. This is the best purchase you will buy for those wet shoes. December 9, 2012

I am a dairy farmer who gets wet boots in the barn and in the hayfield, so I eally like having dry boots in the morning when I start out. These fall mornings are quite cool at 4:30, so dry boots are a plus. The apparatus is easy to move and store because if its light wieght. the fact that the product is American made is also a plus. The power consumption is so low that you can just leave it plugged in 24/7. We like to walk and jog and this is great for drying out your sweaty sneakers or boots. A nice benefit is that our sneakers never smell since we got this and my feet don't smell anymore as this seems to be inhibit bacteria growth that would have resulted from moisture. July 17, 2012

When our boots or tennis shoes get muddy I throw them in the washer and the hang them on the boot warmer. It dries them without any shrinking or cracking and makes them warm on a cold morning. This is the 2nd Peet boot warmer we have had - the 1st one lasted 9 years, so it is an excellent value. September 16, 2011
