I was surprised at the detailing, it's simply beautiful! If you love redwork needlepoint, the red dobby is for you! I did have to fix where the seamstress accidentally got a piece of material stuck in the seam while sewing, but since I'm an avid sewer, it was an easy fix. I love that it's very long which is how I think nightgowns should be. (I have the tartan plaid nightgown and feel it's a bit short, I'm 5'5")

I have two, which I have used for years, wash in cold water and dry on high and they are soft, warm, comforting and wonderful! I am sure they will last for quite a while, but really wanted the one in red, so just ordered that one. Great quality item.

I have been buying these nightgowns for years. They are so comfortable and keep me warm through these COLD New England winters. They wear like iron. Recommend very highly!

I have two of these gowns with a third on my Wish List. I love the style, comfort and warmth of each. The first one I have washed twice-cold water, gentle cycle w/low temp dry. I just looked down at the sleeves. There are pills of fabric all over them and the cuffs. The thread has come apart all across the bodice. After seeing the deteriorating condition after two washes, I certainly have no desire to buy another one. Thought I had found the perfect winter gown ... but suppose not. Very disappointing.

First of all I was very disappointed to see that this nightgown was made in China. Then, as is my custom, I washed it before wearing it, and FOUR buttons came off in the washing machine! I was not happy about having to sew them on again. I like the nightgown, and it is comfortable..

I bought this gown around Christmas as a present to me. I love it. I have washed it many times and it is still the length that it was when I first bought it. Very soft and warm. I normally wear a size 6 but I ordered an extra large so that it would be loose and long. When I get home from a long and stressful day at work, I can't wait to get my comfy gown on and destress. I WILL be ordering another one very soon.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Northforker my " go to" favorite for comfort and styling
From October to April at our house, if you knock on the door after 6pm, you will find me in this nightgown. I come home from work, peel off the constricting layers and say "ahhhh" as I pop this over my head. LOVE this nightgown. I have the ivory, the pink (which I don't think they carry any more) and Two blues! As many reviewers have noted, having a gown that is LONG ENOUGH for my tall frame feels like such pampering! Is it flannel or isn't it? I just know it feels good, warm and soft. It is had room in all the places that other nightgowns have felt uncomfortable, yet it looks pretty and flattering, not dumpy. Please do not ever discontinue this gown.

I've had one of these nightgowns for a few years. This year I ordered the light blue and loved it so much I ordered a second. I'm 5'10" and the sleeves are just right on the blue nighties. On really cold nights, I wear my cotton thermals under the nightie and am toasty and comfortable.

I love this gown so much that I have two of them. It is warm, comfortable and beautifully made. The pin tucks are really pretty. It is roomy, nice and long and really soft. I am puzzled by those that say this is not flannel. It is vintage flannel as the title states. To me I like this soft vintage flannel better than the more common flannel. I love LL Bean sleepwear, so my gowns, robes and slippers are all wicked good LL Bean.
