I was surprised at the detailing, it's simply beautiful! If you love redwork needlepoint, the red dobby is for you! I did have to fix where the seamstress accidentally got a piece of material stuck in the seam while sewing, but since I'm an avid sewer, it was an easy fix. I love that it's very long which is how I think nightgowns should be. (I have the tartan plaid nightgown and feel it's a bit short, I'm 5'5")

I have been buying these gowns for years. I am 5' 9" and it is hard for me to find a gown that is long enough for me. They hold up well, wash after wash. Thanks, LL Bean for continuing to carry this gown.

This is a nightgown that I've bought 4 times, the last purchase only recently when I decided to chop off the nightgown length and turn it into a winter dress to wear with tights. I bought it in red for the dress, in a smaller (S) size than usual, and I am very pleased with the look. Never stop making this nightgown, unless you decide to make a summer version in white cotton.

I have just purchased my third Vintage Flannel Nightgown. I love these. Very generously sized, the blousing//pleats allow for freedom of movement and don't get 'stuck' in your rear end, I check back now and then for any new colors. And yet they are not overly heavy or warm, they are 'just right'. Don't think twice about it, get yourself one and fall in love. I have both a petite XL and a petite L and both seem to fit about the same.

This is my third of this nightgown. Each one lasted at least 6 years. It is the perfect weight of fabric. It is soft and cozy without being too warm.
So happy to replace my last one.

This is great soft, cozy flannel nightgown but I'm a size 4 or 6 and the S is too big! I'm swimming in it! Wishin' for XS--how 'bout it LLBean?

This is the most comfortable, homey, relaxing gown I have ever owned. Generously sized, and the petite is a perfect length in the sleeve and generous in the entire arm area. I initially bought it in blue but treated myself to another in the red last month. Although retired and living in jammies, I tend to alternate only these two, time after time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nikita928 Comfortable, great fit, soft yet holds up
I was given this nightgown as a gift MANY years ago. After so many washings, it finally became thin and tore. It really held up well for so many years. I looked at the tag and ordered another one from LL Bean and I'm delighted to have a new one to last me for the next 10 or so years.

I love all my LL Bean flannel nightgowns. Have worn them for many years most of the year round. I live in Canada. I love it that they are long enough for me. Most companies do not make that generous length, I am 5'7" tall. Most "long" nightgowns hit me mid-calf once they are washed. These keep their length. I love the exceptional quality and the competitive pricing. Thank you LL Bean.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LavenderMeadow Pros and Cons
Pros: The indigo dobby nightgown is a nice print, has a warm cream background color, and really goes well with most skin tones. The fabric is soft, thin, and I would say is not quite flannel yet not flat cotton.
Cons: Being young and slender, I do not appreciate the cut of the gown, l'll just say it can work, as maternity too. Also, they are out of XS, and S is quite well...big...even for sleepwear.
Also, the fabric is rather thin and flimsy, and looks like the type to pill.
I got it on sale. For the price I got, I am satisfied, and can focus on what I like about it. I do not think regularly priced it is worth it. Although it is quite nice, and cozy.
