Rated 1 out of 5 by KellyJP very leaky with a poor zipper
This "weatherproof" wood cover resulted in a quarter cord of wood getting completely saturated by rain and snow. The wood was so completely saturated, it was like the logs soaked in a bathtub. It requires 2 weeks inside my house before they are usable. The zipper is very hard to use and "catches" easily.
I called and initially the representative told me that the cover was not supposed to be "waterproof", but they were finally were able to agree to send another cover in case this was a defective one. The new one was shipped out pretty quickly.
A plastic tarp from the hardware store and a length of clothesline works a bit better. Hopefully, the new cover will prove to be slightly more effective at keeping wood dry.

This is my second wood storage rack cover and I absolutley love it. You may ask why my second but overtime and it being outside in all the elements of New England it does wear out. I'd say it lasted about 5 years which is great for the cost!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jkeyserny Good fit, less heft than I expected
The fit was as advertised. I also own a Woodhaven rack and ordered a cover for it at the same time from another vendor. The Woodhaven cover was made from a much heavier gauge material. My sense is that it will be more durable and longer-lived.
Time will tell.

Why would anyone make a Wood Storage Rack that closes with a zipper that zips from the bottom up? Think of trying to locate the frozen zipper on a snowy winter's eve when you need to bring in more wood.
Additionally the four feet Rack is two feet wide. Too wide to fit properly without blowing off in the wind.

Rated 2 out of 5 by JodiC Leaks like a sieve!
When I received this I was quite happy - seems well built, and the zipper definitely helps in getting wood out, and was appreciated when I had to grab more in the middle of Sandy last night.
Sadly, though, the thing leaks badly at the seams - the entire top layer of wood is very wet, and most of the wood is wet along the edges. The rack is under my deck, against the house, so it isn't even getting a lot of rain, but looks like most of it made it through the cover, regardless. Not much better than not having one at all, sadly.

Very durable, worth every penny. Keeps logs dry and access to logs is easy.

This is a good product that serves the purpose. I've had 4 or 5 over the years. Don't expect more that about 2-3 years out of it however if you store outdoors, particularly through New England winters.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BuckeyeinTerpCountry Last a darn long time
We have been using L.L. Bean wood rack covers for several years now. My only complaint, and it is a minor one, the zippers (the pull tab on them) seem to break long before we have to reorder a new cover. Usually after 3-4 years of use.
And in the winter, we do use our wood pile to supplement the heating of our house.

I'm glad we purchased the wood storage cover and didn't realize it had a front zipper until we received it. It's a perfect fit to keep our wood supply dry. This is our first season using it so we won't know as to performance until the Spring.

We have used these for several years and they hold up well to he elements. One complaint we have is the zippers always seem to give out. Wish they were as hardy as the cover is.
