Rated 5 out of 5 Great Shoes, great service
Very happy with my Rockport World Tour Walkers. I've been buying name brand shoes at department stores only to have them fall apart in a few months (none have lasted a year). These Rockports fit better, look better and give me the impression they will last longer than what I've been buying. They also seem to be true to size, which is not always the case with shoes nowadays. LL Bean service can't be beat, I got the shoes the day after I ordered them. (Maine to Delaware). Almost a given that I'll be back for more.

Rated 5 out of 5áby guythatlimps they age very nicely
I have considerable nerve damage in my legs and limp badly, I usually go through a pair of shoes in 5-6 months. These walkers last at least a year, the brown suede wears down with a shiny spot or two, but they still look pretty good.

Rated 5 out of 5áby goodoldnana Tried and true
This is the third pair of Rockport World Tour shoes my husband has bought. As always, they are true to size, the fit is just right, and they need no breaking in. They are very lightweight and comfy, ideal for travel and a lot of walking. I have trouble getting him to wear any others!

I bought these for my husband's Christmas present. He tried them on and they fit fine and he likes them. I told him to get a good look because he won't see them again until Christmas!

Rated 5 out of 5áby jmi55 Comfortable right out of the box
This is my second pair of these shoes. I now have them in Brown and Black. They were both comfortable, right out of the box. They look good enough with a shirt and tie, but can be worn causally too.

Rated 4 out of 5áby farmponddigger New purchase of old shoe
Had a pair of Rockport Walkers from a couple years ago in black and wanted a pair in brown. I have always worn 10 1/2 M and again ordered that size. I found these short and narrow , so returned them and got 10 1/2 wide . The toe box is right size, but heel area a little too wide. I decided to keep them and am wearing them, to try to soften up top edge of shoe around ankle. They have not been comfortable out of the box, like the old ones were. Hope they will break in.

Rated 3 out of 5áby RMRandal Decent Everyday Shoes but Poor Design for Walking
Overview: I was in the market for new everyday shoes to wear around the town on pavement and dirt and when traveling (no hiking to speak of). I decided to give the Rockport World Tour Walker a try after reading reviews here and after becoming frustrated with the declining quality of other brands I've worn for years. I've never owned the Rockport brand before, but I was attracted to their leather uppers construction and supposed comfort and durability. I've been wearing them every day now for two months, and while I'm somewhat satisfied, I'm convinced that better shoes of comparable construction and style must exist in the same price range.
*Arch Support: There isn't any true arch support or insole cushioning for people with any type of mild to high arch geometry. I had to purchase aftermarket Superfeet insoles to make up for the Rockport's poor design, which made the overall shoe purchase price much higher. The original insole is a thin, floppy piece of foam that I wouldn't want in my house slippers, let alone my walking shoes.
*Ventilation: The shoes have no ventilation, which surprises me for walking shoes. With the shoe's leather uppers and synthetic lining, a short walk on a hot, sunny day produces a lot of heat in the shoe, resulting in uncomfortable sweat for me. My dress shoes have better ventilation, so I'm not sure what the Rockport designers were thinking marketing this as a walking shoe.
*Fit: I experienced no issues with the fit.
*Aesthetics: The shoes look attractive with smooth lines and supple leather. I can wear them with both denim jeans and cotton trousers (such as khakis), but I consider them less appropriate for business casual or better--at least for where I live and how I was taught to dress.
*Durability: So far, they seem plenty durable, but only time will tell. After two months of wearing them on both pavement and dirt, I see few signs of wear on the soles and uppers. I am uncertain about the lining at the heel because it is very thin synthetic fabric. Even though I loosen the laces when taking off the shoes, I am suspicious that this heel area will wear through prematurely after repeatedly sliding my feet in and out due to its thin construction.
*Break-In: The break in took about three days of wearing the shoes for a couple hours each day with no unusual discomfort.
