After years of trying jeans and being unsatisfied with fit and quality I finally found LL Bean Jeans. Great fit, great quality and great price. The sum is simply the best jeans I've ever found. Buy them, wear them, and you won't buy anything else. Thanks LL Bean.

llbean60604 Do not buys these in khaki!
I bought three pairs of the khaki colored jeans. The size, fit, color, and style were great.
The problem is the khaki material is of poor quality. Two pairs out of the three have literally come apart at the seams with very little wear.
I know that the material is lighter than the traditional denim, however even light material should not pull away from the seams if the pants are properly constructed.

Why is the 36" Inseam no longer offered? There is lots of demand for them. Please Bring them back!

I've had several pairs of these jeans and they are the best jeans I've ever owned! I really don't understand all the recent one-star reviews. I just received another pair, worrying that they wouldn't live up to my previous ones (given the poor reviews). While some styles or fabrics may have changed, the faded ones are exactly the same as previous purchases - and they are great! They fit perfect, are very well made, and use the same thick material as in the past. As for those who are dissatisfied and posted one-star reviews, if you can't get satisfied with an L.L. Bean product, then you must not be satisfied with anything. Their customer service is second to none and they won't stop until you're happy. If you couldn't find satisfaction, it's all on you - not the company!

I have five pair of these jeans(all purchased at various times over the past 2-3 years) in my closet and overall I think they're great. They fit well, are comfortable, long lasting and do everything that jeans are supposed to do. I wear them everyday in my shop, run them through the laundry and they're good to go for knocking around on errands.
That being said, I do have a somewhat minor complaint. Within a relatively short time after purchasing them, the third belt loop on the left side (counting back from the front) has come loose from the pants at the bottom of the loop. This has happened on four of the five pair...and I'm expecting the same thing to happen on Pair #5. Obviously this doesn't affect wearability, but it is a minor irritant. Not sure what causes this, but it is curious the problem occurs at the same belt loop position.

Ordered the first pair 1" smaller than my normal waist size (36) and they were at least 4" too small so assuming your jeans sizes ran differently I ordered 5 sizes larger (40) and they were way too big. My 3rd attempt was waist size 38 and still too large so I am back to a waist size of 36 and if this doesn't work I will order from somebody else. The only thing I can think is the first ones I received were terrible mislabeled. It was very aggravating to have to do 3 returns before i could get a pair that fit. That is assuming the ones I ordered today will be right.

All my other pants including jeans are mostly 36 waist and some are 34 but 34 is too tight and 36 slightly loose so I ordered these in 35. Not even close so based on that I would need at least a size 38 maybe a 40 in these jeans. Very disappointed to receive them and have the sizing so far off! They look like very good quality but didn't get a chance to wear them so not able to rate the quality

These are well made jeans. I have always worn these jeans as the relaxed and/or natural fit work with the 36 inch inseam. Three members of my family need the 36 inseam and none of us can fit into the classic style. We need the looser cut jeans in the 36 inch inseam! Please bring them back!!!!! Not only men wear these jeans but tall women too!

I've been buying these jeans for years, what happenned, These are the worst quality jean i've ever purchased. I have 1 year old Bean jeans that are more substantial than these new ones, terrible quality!!!!!!!!!!

I bought these jeans a couple months ago. The material is thin and cheap, the pants don't hold their shape. They fit too tight at the bottom, catching behind the shoe strings. They are not worth 1/4 the price. I won't ever buy these jeans again. Very poor quality. And I've bought lots of stuff over the years from Bean that I like. Not these jeans.
