Rated 2 out of 5 by mithmaker Saggy Butt - disappointing
I was very disappointed when these jeans arrived. They fit well in the waist and leg, but they go straight down from the butt, providing barely any taper / curve at all. If you don't mind wearing "old guy" jeans, these are fine. I'll keep them, because of LL Bean's outstanding warranty, but I won't buy any others.

True fit and comfortable. No shrinkage after several washings. I will be buying more.

Rated 3 out of 5 by handymanalex Leather Patch leaves stains on lighter color
The light khaki color jeans are subject to staining in the wash from the leather L.L. Bean patch. I did not have a problem with this until recently. Apparently, after about 3 to 5 years, the color of the leather patch will break down and transfer onto any part of the garment that it is folded against in the laundry. I removed the patch from the jeans and was able to spot treat and re-wash the jeans to remove the stain.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Lingohocken Stitching began to unravel after one day.
I love these jeans because of their fit. In years past, I could also depend on Bean's jeans to last like iron.
They still fit and look great, but within one day of casual use around the house and yard, the stitching began to unravel on one hem.
One day, and I recently has a stitching issue with another Bean item. Tomorrow I'm going shopping for some other brand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Breakonthrough sturdy and stylish
Great jeans. Like the material and color The only problem is that when ordering my usual size, they were tighter than what I'm used to.
But I've gotten a few complements already with my new look-- I'm told I look a little more hip. If they were a little bit looser and I'd give 'um 5 STARS.

Rated 4 out of 5 by RogerW Label leaks!
My favourite jeans and the khaki version does well for more formal occasions under a blazer. However, the dinky little LLBean leather label at the waist leaks vile pink dye over the garment and worse over other garments in the wash!! such as my also favourite ancient pale yellow hunting shirt ........
This seems to be worse with the khaki version so remove the labels!

Perfect fit for any "tight" and expanding waistlines. They launder well and look great!

Rated 3 out of 5 by activeman2 Ran small, rise too short
I was disappointed with the fit on these jeans. I decided to try these because my other clothes from LL Beam are generally good quality, good value, and consistent fit to size. These jeans are well made but the rise is too short for me and the waist is about two inches tighter than my current jeans (different brand) of the same size. The classic fit was also surprisingly tight through the hip and upper legs after my first laundering. Apart from the fit, I liked the medium weight denim and the quality of the stitching. I would recommend these jeans if you want to take a risk on the the size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SethS Almost perfect
L.L. Bean has maintained the quality of these jeans where other manufacturers have cut corners - zippers too short, pockets too small, and waist too low. These jeans fit almost perfectly. I find the lower legs to be a bit small (I wear 30x30 so I'm not that big). If they were a bit larger they would be perfect. Another improvement would be to make them with just slightly heavier cotton. Still they are the best jeans I can find.

Rated 5 out of 5 just right
I don't know for sure what it is but these jeans just feel right. I have owned other popular brands and they just don't have the same comfort. I have made them my primary jean for over 15 years now and I am back to buy them again.
