Rated 5 out of 5áby Jimtc Finally, jeans that fit
At 6' 1" 165 lbs. and 60 years old, I finally found a pair of jeans that fit my slim build and are styled to fit my age. I'm not over the hill but I have a heck of a view from where I'm standing.
Additionally, I can match the inner and outer leg seams and iron a crease down the front of the legs without dealing with one twisted leg. I would recommend these jeans to anyone with a slim build and an active lifestyle.

Rated 3 out of 5áby johnincl Fit great; denim quality fair
These are the only jeans I buy because the fit is perfect. Over the years, though, I have noticed a subtle, but steady, decline in the strength and overall quality of the denim. It doesn't hold up as well, and the wrinkles need to be pressed more often. Has anyone else noticed this? Still love the fit, though.

Rated 5 out of 5áby DBN66 Excellent quality!
I have been buying LL Bean clothes for many years, including these jeans. The durability is excellent. I also appreciate the consistency in sizes. Can't say that about one other brand I used to wear. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Dougiefresh3 Some size tips for these great jeans
Here's my story: (I'm 6'1" 220lb# Ordered 36/32. I first tried the expandable waist, but found them TOO baggy #my wife says she likes pants, shall we say, more form fitting in the back#. I returned the expandable, now have 36/32 "Classic" fit. I'm going to keep them. Love the quality and overall fit. But they are a little tight in the waist, esp. after a good meal. So now I've ordered a 37/32.#good for Bean to carry the odd sizes#. I think this may be the way to go for Classic fit overall yet a step up in waist size. #that's me not them!#. Hope this may help others.

Rated 2 out of 5áby FisherT Decent quality, too baggy
I bought a black pair about a year and a half ago...and I loved the fit. I had recently lost some weight, and was ready to try "Classic Fit" over the "Relaxed" I usually required. They fit very nicely, showing off my backside quite well I must say.
This year I decided to buy another two pair...and they are clearly much baggier. I compared them side-by-side to the older black ones. Very disappointed. Sigh. I will be returning them.

Rated 1 out of 5áby JimNGa Leather Label leaching stain to jean material
I love the fit, sizing, and comfort of these jeans. I have 6 pair of and not all the same Color/Style. I have no issues with any of them except for the Light Stonewash. I washed a new pair last night per the instructions on the label on the jeans. When the jeans came out of the washer the leather label had stained the jeans. Around the label on the jeans material was a brownish red stain and also a larger stain which matched the size of the label on a different area on the jeans. This has happened on 3 pairs of the Light Stonewash jeans and not on any other Color/Style. There is a problem with the die in the LLBean patch on the jeans. I have worn these jeans for years, but the orders over the last few months have had this problem.

áby HouTex What happened to this product?
I've been purchasing LL Bean products for years for their durability and haven't had any previous issues.
Now regarding these jeans. Normally I'll wear the knees out do to the wear they receive with my job. I have had two pairs that the material (not on the seam) near the crotch has torn. Both pairs had very little wear on the knees? After the first pair I just figured it was an isolated case. But now with the second having the same failure I would avoid purchasing these.

These are mom jeans. I'm 40 years old, and don't like the "low rise" jeans that people 15 years younger than me wear. But these are terrible. They're very high rise, and even though the classic fit is supposed to be the slimmest fit, they are so big in the thighs that they look like jaipur pants. I'm 5'10 and 170 lbs, so not exactly a waif.
Honestly, if you want your kids or the younger folks at work to pick you out as middle aged and having given up on your appearance, get these. If you care at all about the impression you make on other people, I'd look elsewhere. I hate these jeans.
The denim seems to be ok quality, though.
