Fantastic quality for the price. It is painstakingly difficult to find pants or jeans with this high of a rise these days. A high rise just makes one's body more proportionate. Thank you for making these and I hope you don't make changes to it. To those complaining about bagginess...you might not be wearing it at your natural waist .This fits straight with a certain trimness unlike the ungodly amount of slim/skinny jeans with horrendous low rise that major retailers are selling these days. Bravo L.L Bean.

Runs true to size, Appreciate the slight stretch in the material. Legs are a little tight (and I'm not a couch potato). Sizing needs to be adjusted. I suggest buying a pair of classic 7 for All Mankind Jeans and copy the fit. This is your benchmark.

Rated 3 out of 5 by JoetheCritic fit is more baggy than classic
The overall quality of these jeans is good, and the sizing is accurate. But they are unusually baggy in the hips, which is not a style that I consider "classic" at all (unless "sagging" is a classic look).
The light blue stonewash is not a traditional look either; it is brighter than a typical faded denim.

Rated 2 out of 5 by avidfisherman Double L Jeans, Classic Fit
Why did you remove 2 of the belt loops on your jeans. You can't be saving that much money. That was one of the reasons I chose Dbl L Jeans (7 loops) over all the other brands. (5 loops). Those 2 extra loops make a big difference. They keep the waistband of the jeans in place behind the belt instead of dropping down between the back center loop and the side loops. Please put them back on. If it's about cost, I'd rather pay a little extra than you cutting the quality. I would have given a higher rating but over the past year, every pair of jeans I've ordered has been mismarked in waist size (2" - 2 1/2" larger) and fit (baggier than my old natural fit) jeans.I finally had to order them a couple of sizes smaller. That is the manufacturers fault.

Rated 1 out of 5 by NotBuyingTheseAgain Used to be my go to pants
For the past 8 years these have been my reliable buys.. The classic fit was perfect for my body type, and I could rely on buying a pair and knowing what I would get. I would order a pair every 6 months to a year in the store or online with out having to try them on.
To my dismay, the cut has changed. The legs are about 2-3 cm wider, the seat is baggier and the inseam is about 4-5cm longer. I did make sure that I ordered the right thing, and that the right fit and model were shipped to me, and they are the 'same' pants. Just the fit is radically different.
It's a bummer for me because this WAS the pant for me. Now I have to look elsewhere for black jeans. I don't know why Bean's has chosen to alter the pattern for these pants(while claiming they are the same pants), but in doing so they have lost my regular purchases.

Rated 5 out of 5 I have found the PERFECT jeans
I am 5'11" 137 lbs and I wear a 30x30 with the jeans cuffed. These pants have perfect balance of roomy in the waist portion and thigh, but nice and fitted and trim at the leg opening. They look tailored!
Good material, prompt service, and I'll be buying these for as long as I can.
The quest for the perfect pair of jeans is at an end!

Rated 1 out of 5 by DCNW To long!
The jeans arrived and when I tried them on they were way to long. I have been a 34x32 for years and these seemed like a 34 inch length? Will return them and roll the dice and try a 30 inch length!

Rated 1 out of 5 by JPEJ3 Too baggy
When my husband opened the package, he exclaimed "my favorite jeans!". He has trouble finding jeans that aren't super baggy in a 46 waist size and had tried these and they were a trimmer fit as described. After wearing them for part of the day they were extremely baggy. I can't imagine how the ones that are described as roomier would fit. They would look like clown pants. We'll look elsewhere for jeans.
