I work outside all year around and have tried other brands but these work the best.
My main complaint is that they don't come in black.
HEY, LL BEAN. MAKE THESE IN BLACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by OBean Outward trim fit with comfortable flannel inner
The fit was comfortable and trim in appearance with the added warmth of a flannel inner. Stonewashed blue jeans that look great; not too faded and not overly dark blue. A soft denim, not hard and stiff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Michiganmailman Lined Jeans Excellent Winter wear
These lined jeans fit as good as regular jeans with the same waist and inseam. They keep me warm during harsh Michigan winters but I do add long underwear when the temp dips below 20 degrees F.

After wearing and washing the jeans several times I noticed that the right leg had about an additional 4 inches of material in the back leg panel, which creates a 2 inch flap that runs from the bottom of the pocket to just behind the knee. It appears one leg is a classic fit and one a relaxed. Disappointing for a $54 pair of jeans. Disappointing for a Bean product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by EELCHEVY Not as picture shows
I recently purchased a pair of jeans and picture shows pants with 7 belt loops. The pair I received only had 5 loops. This make a big difference in how they fit. Beware unless you like bulges around waist. It is nicer looking with 7 loops.

These are not warm when worn in temperatures below 32 degrees. The jeans material is lightweight. If you want a heavy duty pair of winter pants, buy the stonewashed denim flannel-lined jeans instead. Those are 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by uncflute My dad loves these jeans!
I ordered these for my Dad for Christmas. This was the first time we had ever ordered from L.L. Bean, but I knew my Dad's measurements and picked the "Classic Cut". They fit him perfectly, and he absolutely loves them. He's in his 80s and cold-natured, so the flannel lining has been particularly good at helping to keep his legs warm. In fact he's worn them almost every day since getting them and wants a second pair for his birthday. Great quality, nice color, very impressed with my first purchase from L.L. Bean. Thanks for helping me find the perfect gift for my Dad!

These are very well made and warm, but the styling is right out of 1993. The waist band is too tight, it's way too high up around my belly button, and the backside and thighs made my wife and 13 yo daughter laugh at me, yelling, "Dad Jeans!". I wore them anyway b/c it's so cold in Chicago now. So, my review is the fit is terrible, but the warmth is great. Not unfixable, and while you're at it, how about looking at your whole line up of great quality clothes I can only buy a few items from b/c even the few trim fit items are still too baggy for my 49yo, 6'1" 180 lb 33/34" waist body. Just trying to be helpful, thanks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by VAmom1234 Great, but could be better
The durability and warmth of these jeans are exceptional, but the styling could be a lot better. My husband has a small frame and these jeans are extremely baggy. They have a very tall rise which ends up hanging several inches below his crotch and the legs are huge. I guess he could hike them way up, but he's in his thirties, not eighty? I think it is kind of obvious that a man with a 30 inch waist and 30 inch inseam does not need the same rise as someone with a 36 inch waist. I just wish LLBean would put a little more thought into style for the price of their products. Not sure if we will return these or not. They are ok for working in the yard but not to go out.
