You could buy flannel-lined jeans cheaper, but you'll get what you pay for. I've had a pair of these jeans for nearly 10 years and they're still good. I bought these just to have another pair on hand.

My husband has been wearing these for years. The only reason I buy new ones is that they get faded. I do wish they made them in the dark blue denim. He loves wearing these all winter long.

My husband wears these jeans all winter long - even in South Carolina. He says they are the most comfortable jeans he has ever owned.

by EastCoastGolfer55 Men's Double L Jeans, Flannel-Lined
I rec's my 1st pair of Bean's Double L Flannel-Lined jean's about 5-yrs ago and fell in love with them when wearing in our Northeastern Winter month's. After each wash they are like slipping into a pair of your favorite shoe's that have become customised to ones foot. Well, these Double L Flannel-Lined Jeans are worth their weight & price. They have out performed wearing insulated underwear and uninsulated jeans plus having the choice of fleece or flannel was great too. I have 2-pair now, and have added 2-pair of LL Bean Chino's with the same flannel lining. If your going to spend any time outdoors from late Dec. - early March, you will need a pair of Bean's Double L Flannel-Lined Jeans.

The fit is really old school. Too high-waist to baggy in the legs

Bought my son the Flannel Lined Khaki Jeans for Christmas. He attends college in Maryland. It's now the end of January and I just received this random text message from him: "These flannel lined khakis have been clutch the past couple weeks. Love them!" I guess that says it all. (although I had to look up "clutch", means necessary)
I bought my father the lined chinos, Dad really likes them too. My son preferred the khaki jeans.

Sizing in Thigh area and length was way off. Its for men with large thick thighs or men who like baggy jeans. I ordered 30" inseam . Its more like 34" inseam. Unfortunately returning.

I consider myself easy to please in the pants department. Classic fit in most any reputable brand work fine for me, until today. It is cold out and I figured I would treat my bottom half to a nice pair of flannel lined jeans. They were warm for the 5 minutes I had them on but they were HUGE! I ordered the size I always order my pants in and this is the first time I have had a pair of classic fit jeans, not fit. The pants are at least 3 inches longer not in the leg but in the top part of the jeans. Laid side by side with all of my other multiple brand jeans and these looked huge. Very disappointed. I don't think I will be ordering any more giant clothes from here. With the $6.50 I now have to pay for a return I would have been better off selling my gift card I used to purchase these.

I wasn't sure if he would like them or not. We don't have a lot of cold weather. Turns out they were a home run gift for hubby. He said they are very warm and very comfortable. They fit over his boots too - bonus! Now, I'm jealous! I wish Bean made these for women in a not so high waist style; which is very high if you're like me - very short.

Last year, I bought the flannel lined khakis for my dad and he told me how wonderful they were and how he wore them everyday to work in the winter and any time it was cold out.
That being said, I decided to buy my husband the flannel JEANS since he's not a khaki's guy... the 1st day he wore them he texted me how warm his legs were when he was walking the 9 city blocks from his car to work in freezing cold weather.
My advice to all... (1) order them early, they tend to sell out quickly especially the khakis (2) purchase more than 1!!! When it's cold out, and they're walking to work, waiting for the bus, waiting for the train, snow shoveling, or anything outdoors/indoors they will wear them... and they will be thankful they did.
